About Cuckoo
If you’re prone to becoming engrossed in your work (or play), a periodic clock toll can help bring you back to Earth now and again.

That’s why Cuckoo brings clock chimes to your Mac. Play a tone on the hour. Or on the half-hour, or every five minutes if you must. Use one of Cuckoo’s built-in beeps, or any of your Mac’s installed sounds (with volume control, so you can make them as subtle or aggressive as you like).

Cuckoo runs as an invisible background application and is configured from System Preferences, so it won’t take up precious space on your Dock or menu bar. It’s a tidy little tool for timely tones!

What’s New in this Version
-  Performance: Cuckoo now works harder to ensure that the chime sound (and QuickTime itself) are loaded into RAM before it’s time to chime. This should help address some rare situations where chimes would be missed, or would judder and skip during playback.
-  Update checking: Cuckoo now quits System Preferences when downloading an update (to ensure that the correct code is loaded when the new version is installed).
- Update checking: Stability fixes.
