ScriptLight 1.2.5
About ScriptLight
Does what Spotlight does not. ScriptLight allows you to search the code of your applescripts. It even works with applications created with applescript. It works with script files created using Xcode and Applescript Studio too.
If you’re like us then you would like better control of your applescripts. Most times when writing a new applescript or tweaking one we already have, it would be great if we could find code that we’ve already created and use that code in our current project. Apple provided us with this technology but no means of quickly getting at the code without manually opening each script individually. That becomes impossible with the number of scripts many of us have. How do I quickly find how to get the currently playing iTunes song? Or get the currently selected picture in iPhoto? Or how did I use that shell command to do whatever? Spotlight just doesn’t help us with applescript code. Well now there’s ScriptLight which allows you to quickly get at all your code so you can use it whenever you need. You’ll rediscover applescripts that you forgot you ever had!
