About Tarimporter
A Spotlight plug-in. Its primary purpose is to allow fast searches in UNIX archive files. For performance reasons tarimporter searches only for file names inside archive files. Actually it recognizes tar, cpio, pax, and zip archives with different flavours of compression algorithms.
