About LBackup
LBackup, is an Open Source command line backup tool for systems administrators. LBackup is a backup system aimed at systems administrators who require reliable backups with minimum fuss.

LBackup is configured with configuration files and the backup is started from the command line. The current backup code base has been tested for over 5 years.

System Requirements

  • Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later
  • RSync (supporting the copying of your required meta data).
  • Familiarity with the CLI.
  • Familiarity with CRON or LaunchD for scheduling.
  • Familiarity with SSH for Network Backups.
