Judges' Selection
Out of the 25 finalists, the panel of celebrity judges will choose one film as their favorite.
Both teams will be awarded a grand prize package containing the following Apple hardware and software:
- 5 MacBook Pro notebook computers
- 5 Final Cut Studio 2 box sets
- 5 copies of Shake
- 5 Logic Studio box sets
- 5 One to One personal training cards
Honorable Mention
This film will be selected by the celebrity judges as another that stood out among the finalists and will receive a one hour video iChat with filmmaker Barry Sonnenfeld. Come face-to-face with Hollywood and receive a personal critique from an award winning filmmaker.
Finalists
The top 25 films as voted on by the public will each receive the following:
- Celebrity Judging - Want your film viewed by award winning film industry pros? Better get some rest the night before. The 25 highest rated films during public voting will have the privilege of each being viewed by eight celebrity judges. This ensemble of filmmakers know a hit when they see one and will be looking for that one film that has what it takes to be the best.
- Promoted on the iTunes Store - Offer your adoring fans the chance to watch your film anywhere — on their iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, you name it. The 25 finalists will be featured in the iTunes Store Podcast directory.
- Apple Store Presentation - Finalists will have the opportunity to present their film and be featured in a Made on a Mac presentation at participating Apple retail locations.
- Featured on Apple.com - The two grand prize winning films will join the elite ranks of previous winners and be added to our Insomnia winner’s gallery.
