Education

We support our products. And the people who use them, too.

The support and training options that come with every Mac are almost as amazing as the Mac itself. Every kind of help is available at every turn. All you have to do is decide what’s most useful for your institution. And we can even help you with that.

Professional development for educators.

Apple offers a range of Professional Development workshops. They’re designed to give faculty the skills and confidence to create and publish digital content for their classes, inspire creativity with engaging media assignments, and get teams collaborating in and out of class. We also have sessions to help principals, district leaders, deans, and provosts bring momentum to their technology plans.

Each workshop is led by former educators and is fully customized for your institution. Our Professional Development team can help you evaluate your faculty’s current skills and teaching strategies and create a step-by-step development plan. Learn more

iLife, iWork, and pro application certifications.

Students and educators can receive associate-level certification in iLife or iWork to prove their skill at creating digital content such as movies, podcasts, photo books, music, presentations, spreadsheets, and more.

Apple Training Certificate

They can also train for certification in any of Apple’s pro applications, the standard software in creative industries such as filmmaking, broadcast production, audio recording, and photography. Becoming an Apple Certified Pro gives students a leg up when they’re competing for jobs, because employers know they’re ready to hit the ground running.

Certification courses are taught at Apple Authorized Training Centers around the country, and many centers will also send trainers to your institution. Even better, your high school, college, or university can qualify to provide training and certification onsite. So you can open doors for students and help your school stand out at the same time.

Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server, and service certifications.

Apple offers training and certification courses that prepare your IT staff to troubleshoot Mac OS X or to implement a Mac OS X Server-based system. System administrators can go further and master directory services, deployment, or advanced administration.

Your staff can use Apple Training Series books to study for exams on their own. They can also take courses at an Apple Authorized Training Center or arrange for a trainer to provide onsite instruction.

Want your institution to be able to service its own Apple hardware? AppleCare Technician Training is an easy-to-follow, self-paced program that can get your IT professionals ready to do just that.
