The Photography Contest

“You have to try to tell the story in a single frame…Maybe it’s about leaving things out, because often with those big shots it’s too complex to translate into a still image. You have to just concentrate on ‘What’s the key moment?’” – James Fisher

“One of the great talents an on-set photographer has to have is being absolutely everywhere at absolutely all times, while at the same time, never being seen nor heard.” – Baz Luhrmann

This contest requires you to shoot an action-oriented event and choose the one photograph that best tells the story you want to convey. You can shoot anything from a sporting event to a dance recital, it just has to be unposed action.

You have until midnight Eastern Time (9:00 p.m. Pacific) on May 5, 2008, to post your entry to the Apple Student Gallery. Entries will be judged by employees of Apple, 20th Century Fox, and Bazmark Inc.
