How often have you watched a video and wanted more information about what you saw? As a QuickTime author, you can create informative, interactive content with VideoClix. Include clickable hot spots, create time-triggered actions, and place chapters and text tracks in the video—no scripting required.

Serve VideoClix-enabled content from any HTTP or RTSP server. And, if you wish, tie it into a database or e-commerce back-end. VideoClix is available exclusively for Mac OS X, but the content you create can be watched by any Mac and Windows user running QuickTime.

VideoClix To see how it works, take a look at a chapter from Eye on the Earth, a series focusing on environmental and wildlife issues. As you watch the video, click animals and objects for more information.
