In the late 1970s, New York’s CBGB was the definitive club to hear the best new wave bands. One regular was Television, a quartet whose 1977 debut, “Marquee Moon,” was a hit with both critics and fans.

Television went off the air (and off the stage) in 1978, but you can rerun “Marquee Moon” in a newly-remastered CD. Tune in to hear the album, including four bonus tracks and the single “Little Johnny Jewel” in a listening party from Rhino Records.

There’s nothing like a little hard-driving rock ‘n’ roll when you’re on the road. Let CarandDriver.com and Sony Music provide the ideal vehicular accompaniment with “Rock Your Ride,” featuring music from Bruce Springsteen, Audioslave, KoRn, The Ataris, Howie Day, The Raveonettes — and, very appropriately, from Chevelle and Fuel. The site features audio tracks and videos for you to enjoy.

Australian pop singer/songwriter Ben Lee has “No Room to Bleed” in this acoustic version of the latest single from Lee’s new album, “Hey You, Yes You.”

As a follow-up to their 2002 album, “Leaving Through the Window,” Something Corporate will release “North” on October 21. Watch this “Space” — the very first music video from their new album.

Experience the intensity of Kutless in “Run,” the new single and music video from the young Portland, Oregon, hard rock band. Featuring the vocals of 20-year-old frontman Jon-Micah Sumrall, “Run” is from the band’s self-titled new album. Be sure to catch the videos for “Tonight” and “Your Touch” also featured on the site.

DJ Tiesto invites you to play in “Traffic” by enjoying the video of him spinning the song live in front of 25,000 people in the Netherlands.

A trance track with a hard and techy edge, “Traffic” is from Tiesto’s upcoming new album, slated for European release in May 2004.

“Rock-N-Roll Records (Ain’t Selling This Year),” or so say Supersuckers in their energetic, rockabilly-inspired music video. Supersuckers will blow you away while you watch them perform their new song in a raging desert sandstorm.

If you think you work hard, imagine performing a concert in two different continents on the same day.

To kick off her eagerly anticipated album, “Life For Rent,” Dido performed a four-song acoustic set in London’s Virgin Megastore on September 29 before winging across the Atlantic in a chartered jet to do the same in New York City’s Union Square.

View exclusive footage from Dido’s album launch, including her acoustic perfomances, behind-the-scenes footage, and an exclusive interview with Dido herself. The website will feature new content every few days, so you’ll want to check back.

Mac users can also discover more Dido at the iTunes Music Store. Find “Life For Rent” as well as the single “White Flag” and songs from Dido’s best-selling debut album, “No Angel.”

What happens when soccer star David Beckham meets rugby great Jonny Wilkinson? Beckham learns to kick the perfect rugby penalty, and in return, Beckham teaches Wilkinson the secret of mastering the free kick.

Who can claim the title of best-selling comedy artist of all time? It’s Jeff Foxworthy, the Grammy-nominated Southern comedian whose good-natured pokes at rednecks have won him this honor — along with album sales totalling an amazing 13 million units.

Foxworthy’s funniest bits have been compiled in a new collection from Rhino, “The Best of Jeff Foxworthy: Double Wide, Single Minded.” If you promise to wear your gimme cap, you’re invited to attend a listening party of all 16 tracks from the album.

“Everything is real...It’s good old-fashioned ensemble acting, very rarely seen these days in motion pictures,” says director Clint Eastwood of his new film, “Mystic River,” the story of three childhood friends from Boston tragically reunited by a murder.

Eastwood directs the movie, which stars Sean Penn, Kevin Bacon, Tim Robbins, Laurence Fishburne, Marcia Gay Harden, and Laura Linney. “Mystic River” opens in theaters nationwide on October 15. Enjoy the trailer.

And experience the intensity of the performances and Eastwood’s subtle directorial style in “The Making of Mystic River,” a bonus video featuring interviews with the actors and with Eastwood.
