How do I copy my purchased music to my iPod?
By default, iTunes automatically updates iPod's music library whenever you connect iPod to your computer. iTunes transfers new songs you've added, and erases songs you've removed. You can also transfer music manually.
I can't copy music to my iPod.
If you have your iPod configured to be updated manually, there are several possible reasons you might not be able drag some songs from your iTunes library to your iPod.

Your iPod can be used as a music player and an external hard drive. If certain songs or audiobooks won't play on your iPod, here are some things you can try to resolve the issue. No. At this time, no other MP3 players support the MPEG4 AAC Protected file format. Songs purchased using the iTunes Store can be played on iPod.
