When can I expect my order?
Once your order has been handed over to the carrier for delivery, you will receive a shipment notification email with an estimated delivery date. Please note that it is not possible to expedite your delivery and receive your package earlier than the scheduled delivery date. Therefore, we are unable to accept requests for expedited delivery.Apple and its carriers are unable to provide an exact time of day for your delivery. You can check the delivery date and carrier by visiting our online Self Service for the latest status of your order. If you ordered multiple items, you may receive separate shipments.
Locations outside major city areas may require an additional 1-2 business days for delivery. Outside major city areas include but are not limited to: Hei Ling Chau, Cheung Chau, Discovery Bay, Lamma Island, Lantau, Ma Wan, Peng Chau, Po Toi Island, Soko Island, Sunshine Island and Park Island.
Delivery hours are:
Commercial Addresses : 9am - 6pm
Residential Addresses : 9am - 11pm
Offshore Addresses : 9am - 6pm
Mail orders: Standard postal delivery hours
I will not be home on the scheduled delivery date.
As our carriers require a signature on delivery, the carrier will leave a calling card if you are not at home. Please contact the carrier to reschedule delivery.
We keep you informed
Once you’ve placed an order, you will receive an Order Acknowledgement email to confirm your order details, including shipping and delivery estimates for each item. Once your item has prepared for shipment and ships, you will receive a Shipment Notification email with carrier and tracking information.
You can also visit online the Self Service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to view the most up-to-date status of your order. Sign in with your Apple ID and password to get a summary of orders placed in the past 18 months. You'll see your order number, the date and time the order was placed, the status of the order, estimated shipping and delivery dates, the shipping method, and package tracking information for items that have shipped. If you choose to view the order details of an order, you'll see additional information including any gift messaging, product engraving, product customisation, and more.
For postal deliveries, order status tracking is not available.
Shipping and delivery estimates
The 'Ships' timeframe is an estimate of when the item will prepare for shipment and ship from our warehouse. The items on your order will ship as they become available.
- Items that ship within "In Stock" are estimated to ship the same or following business day.
- Items with longer estimates ship from our warehouse within the timeframe indicated (e.g., 7-10 business days).
- Custom-configuring your Mac or personalizing your iPod may take additional time to prepare for shipment, and will increase the 'Ships' timeframe.
The 'Delivers' timeframe is an estimate of when the item will be delivered to your shipping address after it ships.
All estimates are based on business days.
In addition to email notifications, you can request text message updates in Checkout.
What to Expect
Once your order ships we'll send you a text message. The text message will include a link to the tracking information. Texts are sent between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. in your time zone.
How to change my text message preferences
You can edit your mobile phone number at any time by logging into your account and editing the Shipment Notification preferences for your order.
Signature on delivery
Most of our shipments contain valuable computer equipment. If you will not be home to accept delivery of your product, consider shipping your product where someone you trust will be able to sign for your package. For your convenience, you may prefer to have your order delivered to your office address. Please note, if you choose this option, goods may be left with reception or the Mail Room. Delivery to a PO Box is not permitted for security reasons.
For postal deliveries, no signature is required and order status tracking is not available.
Shopping in Hong Kong
The Apple Online Store Hong Kong sells and ships items only within Hong Kong. You may not export any products purchased at the online Apple Store. We do not ship to freight forwarders. The Apple Store sells and ships products to end user customers only. Notwithstanding order confirmation Apple may cancel any order where it has reasonable grounds to believe the product is not being purchased for end use.
The Apple Online Store Hong Kong does not support shipping items in a single order to multiple shipping addresses. To ship items to an additional address, please place a new order on the Apple Online Store.

Shopping outside Hong Kong
There are more than 20 Apple Online Stores in countries around the globe. The Apple Online Store Hong Kong ships only within Hong Kong. I need to change my shipping address.
If you have not yet received your shipment notification you can amend your details online via our Self Service website. If you are unable to modify your shipping details here, please contact the Apple Store Customer Service.
If your order is already in transit, please call the Apple Store Customer Service.
How much am I charged for shipping?
It won't cost you anything - Apple Store pays for standard delivery.
Please note that applicable shipping fees apply to Apple Print Products.
What happens if my delivery goes missing or is damaged?
In case of any problems with your delivery, Apple will be in direct contact with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible with as little inconvenience to you. We will make every effort to contact you and keep you informed of the progress of our investigation and where appropriate, deliver a replacement. If you have already received your order and find that it is damaged, please call the Apple Store Customer Service.
