- Are the new MacBook Pro and Macbook Air announced by Apple on June 8th, 2009, eligible for the Back to School Promotion?
Yes, any Mac computer qualifies for Back to School promotion with the exclusion of Mac mini and refurbished products only. See the Terms and Conditions for more precise details.
- I purchased a previous generation MacBook, MacBook Pro or Macbook Air recently, and exchanged the product for a new qualifying product. Do I need to apply for the Back to School rebate again?

If you have already applied for the Back to School promotion, no action is required as a result of the exchange. If you have yet to submit your application, you may submit your claim for the new product as normal. Please be sure to include both the proof of purchase for your iPod and your Mac if these exist separately.
Online Rebate Requests
- How do I submit my Apple rebate materials online?
- Go to apple.com/ie/promo.
- Click the Submit a Rebate button for the applicable promotion.
- Provide your contact information and how we can reach you if we have questions about your claim.
- Identify where your purchase was made.
- Select your eligible product.
- Choose how you would like to receive your rebate. Be sure to enter your account details correctly, including your IBAN if you choose wire transfer.
- Review your details and submit.
- Print your claim form and post it to the address stated on the form, together with your proof of purchase and EAN Bar Code labels.
- How do I apply for more than one promotion?

f your purchase is eligible for more than one promotion, you need to submit a separate online rebate request for each promotion. Where supporting documentation is required and the postal address is the same for both promotions, you may submit the documents in the same envelope. Please mark on the envelope the name of each promotion for which you are applying.
- How do I find my online Apple Store documentation?

You can submit your Apple Store invoice or Shipment Notification email to validate your order. This notification is emailed to you when your Apple Store order ships.You can reprint your invoice here .
- When can I submit my Apple rebate claim online?

Your claim must be submitted online within 30 days after the end of the promotion. If you purchased from the Apple Online Store or over the phone, all of the items you purchase must have shipped before you submit your claim.
Qualification and Eligibility
- How do I qualify for an Apple rebate?

Purchase the qualifying products from an eligible retailer during the promotion period that is noted on the Terms and Conditions of the rebate. If multiple qualifying products are purchased, all items must be purchased together, at the same time, and on the same receipt. Please note: Apple Online Store purchases must have the the same order number even if your items ship out separately.
- Who is eligible to participate in Apple rebate offers?

Unless otherwise stated in the Terms and Conditions of the rebate, you must be an individual end-user purchaser.
- To qualify for a rebate, can I buy my new computer from any store that carries Apple products?

Rebate Claim Procedures
- How do I obtain my rebate?

Visit the Apple product promotions page and find the claim procedures for the rebate you wish to claim.
- Where do I mail the rebate form and required documents?

Mail the rebate form and required documents to the address printed on the rebate claim form, or stated on the online form. The Terms and Conditions of the rebate will contain the address to post your claim. Visit apple.com/ie/promo/ to view the Terms and Conditions for the rebate you wish to submit.
- How much time do I have to claim my rebate?

In general, you must claim your rebate within 30 days of the end of the promotion. Check the Terms and Conditions of the rebate for specific postmark requirements.
Rebate Cheques and Bank Transfers
- How long will it take to receive my rebate payment?

You should receive your rebate cheque or bank transfer within four weeks from the date your claim is approved.
- How much will my rebate amount be?

The rebate amount varies for each promotional offer. Please check the Terms and Conditions of the promotion at apple.com/ie/promo/ for specific rebate details.
- Can I change my payment method?

Once you have selected how you would like to receive your rebate on your online claim form it cannot be amended.
- My bank applied charges to redeem my rebate, why?

This question should be directed to your bank. Apple and its agents do not apply charges to redeem the rebate. At your bank's discretion bank charges may apply to redeem the rebate.
- What is an IBAN number and where can I find it?

IBAN (International Bank Account Number) numbers are used within the European Union to move funds for payment programmes like promotional rebates. Please contact your bank if you have trouble locating this number, or request a cheque. Your IBAN number for the Republic of Ireland will appear on your bank statements. Proof of Purchase - EAN Bar Code Labels, Emails and Receipts
- What do I submit as proof of purchase?

This depends on the particulars of the promotion you are applying for, see the Terms and Conditions of the offer at apple.com/ie/promo/ for specific proof of purchase requirements. Depending on the promotion, the requiremement will be one of the following:
- Apple Store Invoice. To print a copy of your invoice, visit http://store.apple.com/irl/orderstatus. Alternatively, you can submit a copy of your Apple Store Shipment Noification email. If your order is shipped in two separate deliveries, ensure you include the invoice or shipment notification for each delivery.
- Apple Authorised Reseller or Apple Premium Reseller Receipt. Promotional offers involving resellers must have a receipt showing purchase as detailed in the Terms and Conditions of the offer, and be a full VAT receipt with a reseller name and address, showing the amount paid for the products.
- How do I find the Apple ID I used to make my purchase?

If you do not remember the Apple ID you used to make your purchase, click on the Forgot Password button located under the password field on the Sign In with your Apple ID page. You may also update your password by visiting https://iforgot.apple.com.
- Where do I find the EAN Bar Code labels?
-
For hardware products, the EAN Bar Code label may be located anywhere on the outside of the box and includes the part number with barcode, the serial number with barcode, and the product description. For software products, the EAN Bar Code label is usually located on the top or bottom flap of the product box and typically contains a part number and barcode.
- My order qualifies for a promotion, but the product from my original order was exchanged. What box labels do I include?

If you are unable to include the box labels from your original purchase, please include the labels from your replacement product along with the receipt detailing your exchange for exactly the same product. The receipt is required to process product box labels that differ from your original qualifying purchase.
Online and Phone Purchases
- If my purchase was made through the Apple Online Store or over the phone, what date is used as the “purchase date?"

For online or phone orders, you are not invoiced until the product ships. Therefore, your purchase date is your ship date.
- I purchased a product that will not ship until after the promotion. Do I still qualify for the rebate?

In the event that a qualifying product is ordered during the promotion dates and shipped after the end of the promotion, Apple offers an additional fifteen (15) day grace period for postmark of the claim, provided that you submit your Order Confirmation email stating that you placed the order during the promotion period.
- If my products are on the same Sales Order but are shipped on different dates with two separate receipts, will I still qualify?

Yes. If multiple receipts have the same Sales or Web Order Number, they satisfy the same-day and same-receipt requirement. You must submit copies of both receipts.
- If my Mac order ships prior to the promotion start date, but I receive it within the promotional period, will I qualify for the rebate?

If your computer was sold, shipped, and invoiced to you prior to the promotional period, it does not qualify for a rebate.
- If my Mac order ships prior to the promotion start date, can I return it and reorder in order to take advantage of the promotion?

Rebate Status
- How do I check the status of my rebate?

You can check the status of your claim at apple.com/ie/promo/rebate/status.html. You will need your online claim number and email address.
- I have applied for two rebates. Why have I only received one?
-
Rebate claims for different promotions are processed separately. Please check the status of your individual claims at apple.com/ie/promo/rebate/status.html.
- I submitted my rebate request. Why haven’t I received my rebate cheque or bank transfer yet?

Please allow six weeks from the date the claim is processed to receive the rebate payment. Please check your rebate status online at apple.com/ie/promo/rebate/status.html. You will need your online claim number and email address.
Multiple Rebates
- If I buy more than one pair of qualifying products on the same receipt or Sales Order, do I need to submit multiple rebate claims?

That is not necessary. You should claim all qualifying pairs of products at the same time. Check the Terms and Conditions of the rebate for the exact number of products allowed. You must include the required documents, including original EAN Bar Code labels, as specified from each qualifying product.
- Can this offer be combined with other promotions?

From time-to-time, Apple permits promotions to be combined, please view the Terms and Conditions of the offer you are interested in for specific instructions on whether the offer can be combined with others.
