We are excited to announce two new widgets to our Widget Builder, App List and Book List. The new widgets focus on curation of great content in both our App Store and the iBookstore. These widgets, similar to iTunes Playlist widget, are easy to customize and simple to integrate into your website or blog and provide interactive content to your users.

Each widget allows for customization of size and the coloring of widget corners to seamlessly match your background and fully integrate with your page design. They are built completely with HTML 5, use no Flash, and are compatible with most all browsers.

The widgets are available across all countries that are supported by our iTunes Affiliate Program. Some restrictions apply based on availability of content and commission rates.

The affiliate program will be impacted from Thursday, December 22 to Thursday, December 29. Sales reports and affiliate tools will be temporarily suspended or delayed during this time, however, all affiliate sales will be properly tracked.

• Affiliate sales reports will be suspended prior to the 25th Holiday. It may take over a week for the sales reporting to complete processing.
• The Enterprise Partner Feed will be taken offline for the duration.
• The Search API, Link Maker tool and RSS Feed will be kept online, but you may have increased latency and time outs.

Localized affiliate badges are available for the new countries. This includes localized badges for "Available on the App Store," "Available on the Mac App Store," "Available on the iBookstore," "Download on iTunes," "Get it free on iTunes," "Pre-order on iTunes," and "Subscribe on iTunes." These badges are available from the Identity Guidelines page on the Affiliate Resource Site.

Getting Started with the Brazilian Program
The Brazil iTunes, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store Affiliate Program is administered by TradeDoubler. If you are new to our affiliate programs it's important to first first register as a publisher with TradeDoubler. This can be done at http://www.tradedoubler.com/pan/program_info?program_id=214843.

After being accepted into the TradeDoubler network you need to log into your account, go to "Advertisers" then click on "Search Affiliate Programs" and search for iTunes in the search box. From these results you must then apply for the iTunes, App Store, Mac App Store and iBookstore (BR) affiliate program.

After our team reviews your application you will receive an email with information on getting started or suggestions on how to reapply.

If you are not new to TradeDoubler, login to your account, then navigate to "Account" and click on "Countries". Tick the box next to Brazil and save. Back on the home page of your interface, click on the "+ Add Site" button to create an account for your Brazilian affiliate activities. Then follow the steps described above to apply for the iTunes, App Store, Mac App Store and iBookstore (BR) affiliate program.

Important note: You must have an affiliate account with TradeDoubler in Brazil to track your affiliate activity there. A TradeDoubler account for one of our European iTunes, App Store, Mac App Store and iBookstore programs will not track sales referred to iTunes in Brazil.

Getting Started for the Mexico Program
The Mexico iTunes, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store Affiliate Program is administered by LinkShare. If you are new to our affiliate programs it's important to first first register as a publisher with LinkShare. This can be done at https://cli.linksynergy.com/cli/publisher/registration/registration.php. Please note that the new Mexico program resides in the "US network."

After being accepted into the LinkShare network you need to log into your dashboard, navigate to "PROGRAMS" then "New Advertisers" and finally search for the program in the search box on the right hand side of the page. From these results you must then apply for the MX iTunes, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store Affiliate Program.

After our team reviews your application you will receive an email with information on getting started or suggestions on how to reapply.

Leading up to the CMA Awards in early November, Country Music Month on iTunes will feature the hottest new releases from Lady Antebellum, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Martina McBride and Rodney Atkins. In addition, classic country, country music videos and iTunes original content from Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley and more will be featured in the Country Music Month room.

Because the widgets use an HTML iframe, there is no need to apply styles or tweak the HTML of the widgets for your page.

The new value added is labeled "features" and will include elements representing specific app features, such as if the app is Game Center enabled or is a Universal app.

Eg.
The query http://itunes.apple.com/lookup?id=284288607 would return - "features":["iosUniversal"], - as it is a Universal app but is not Game Center enabled.

The query http://itunes.apple.com/lookup?id=375295479 would return - "features":["gameCenter", "iosUniversal"], - because it is both a Universal app and is Game Center enabled.

Please note that because apps supporting Game Center are now called out in the new "features" value the isGameCenterEnabled key will be deprecated in a future update. Please move to this new format as soon as possible.
