Brazil and Mexico Affiliate Programs Added
We are excited to announce two new affiliate programs have been added for Brazil and Mexico. These programs will offer a five percent commission over 72 hours on sales from the iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store and iBookstore on the desktop, iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Tools
These two new programs are supported by all of our affiliate tools. This includes the Link Maker tool that quickly generates links to specific items in the stores and the RSS Feed Generator that builds XML or JSON feeds for top content on the stores. The Search API and Enterprise Partner Feed will also contain information for the new storefronts. Last, our Widget Builder tool has also been updated. The widgets are an easy way to add interactive content to your website or blog.
Localized affiliate badges are available for the new countries. This includes localized badges for "Available on the App Store," "Available on the Mac App Store," "Available on the iBookstore," "Download on iTunes," "Get it free on iTunes," "Pre-order on iTunes," and "Subscribe on iTunes." These badges are available from the Identity Guidelines page on the Affiliate Resource Site.
Getting Started with the Brazilian Program
The Brazil iTunes, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store Affiliate Program is administered by TradeDoubler. If you are new to our affiliate programs it's important to first first register as a publisher with TradeDoubler. This can be done at http://www.tradedoubler.com/pan/program_info?program_id=214843.
After being accepted into the TradeDoubler network you need to log into your account, go to "Advertisers" then click on "Search Affiliate Programs" and search for iTunes in the search box. From these results you must then apply for the iTunes, App Store, Mac App Store and iBookstore (BR) affiliate program.
After our team reviews your application you will receive an email with information on getting started or suggestions on how to reapply.
If you are not new to TradeDoubler, login to your account, then navigate to "Account" and click on "Countries". Tick the box next to Brazil and save. Back on the home page of your interface, click on the "+ Add Site" button to create an account for your Brazilian affiliate activities. Then follow the steps described above to apply for the iTunes, App Store, Mac App Store and iBookstore (BR) affiliate program.
Important note: You must have an affiliate account with TradeDoubler in Brazil to track your affiliate activity there. A TradeDoubler account for one of our European iTunes, App Store, Mac App Store and iBookstore programs will not track sales referred to iTunes in Brazil.
Getting Started for the Mexico Program
The Mexico iTunes, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store Affiliate Program is administered by LinkShare. If you are new to our affiliate programs it's important to first first register as a publisher with LinkShare. This can be done at https://cli.linksynergy.com/cli/publisher/registration/registration.php. Please note that the new Mexico program resides in the "US network."
After being accepted into the LinkShare network you need to log into your dashboard, navigate to "PROGRAMS" then "New Advertisers" and finally search for the program in the search box on the right hand side of the page. From these results you must then apply for the MX iTunes, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store Affiliate Program.
After our team reviews your application you will receive an email with information on getting started or suggestions on how to reapply.
