The RSS Feed Generator has recently been updated with three new feed types specifically for apps.

The three new feeds include "New Apps," "New Free Apps," and "New Paid Applications." As the name implies these new feeds provide information about new apps as they are added to the App Store.

As these feeds are built slightly differently than the other feeds it is important to note that a couple of the parameters from the RSS Feed Generator will not work with them; specifically the Size and Genre options. All of the New App related feeds will have a size of 100 results and not be specific to a single genre.

We have seen some ingenious implementations of the RSS feeds in the past and encourage you to push your creativity while integrating these. We also foresee some of our "app discovery" partners really liking these new feeds.
