The Search API has recently been updated to include new information for TV shows, movies and apps.

App results will now include information about an apps rating inside the store. This includes the Average User Rating ("averageUserRating") and the number of users who have rated the app ("userRatingCount"). Information about the app being Game Center enabled is also now available via the isGameCenterEnabled key value pair.

TV show episodes and movie results now include both short descriptions ("shortDescription") as well as the the longer descriptions ("longDescription") in their results.

While the TV show and movie descriptions can currently be found in the Enterprise Partner Feeds, the new app-related content is not currently available there.

These enhancements to the Search API allow for added creativity. We encourage you to integrate this new information into your websites and apps.
