Basic Affiliate Linking
This document is intended for nontechnical users of the affiliate program through the LinkShare and TradeDoubler affiliate networks. This document explains some of the tools used to generate links and how you can get started using them. It also describes the basic components of affiliate links and the fundamentals of how they work.

iMix
An iMix is a manually built playlist that is submitted to the store through the desktop iTunes application and has a static URL that can be affiliated. It is the ideal choice for a publisher who is nontechnical and plans to only create a small number of playlists.
Search API
The Search API allows affiliates to search for or look up content within the iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore and Mac App Store by attaching specific parameters and query terms onto a URL. Results are returned in JSON format. The Search API does not require an account and is for advanced affiliates.
Enterprise Partner Feed Flat
The Enterprise Partner Feed Flat (EPF Flat) is a series of data feeds comprising content metadata for apps, songs and TV episodes in the iTunes and App Store. Affiliate partners can ingest this data for use in matching content libraries and generating links. This advanced tool requires an account and is intended for technically savvy affiliate partners.
Enterprise Partner Feed Relational
The Enterprise Partner Feed Relational (EPF Relational) is a bulk data feed comprising all content metadata in the iTunes and App Store. Affiliate partners can ingest this data to build a relational database for use in matching content libraries and generating links. This advanced tool requires an account and is intended for technically savvy affiliate partners.
EPFImporter
A command-line based tool, for EPF partners, that allows for ingestion of the EPF-Relational files into a relational database. This advanced tool is intended for technically savvy affiliate partners with an EPF accont.
Web iMix
Web iMix allows you to dynamically build iMixes inside the store. This feature can also be used to simulate a "shopping cart." The Web iMix requires an account is intended for the technically savvy affiliate publisher.
