The Power Mac G4 Cube has two 400Mbps FireWire
(IEEE 1394) ports. With such enormous bandwidth, FireWire delivers 30
times more throughput than USB. This makes it your interface of choice
for digital video and other high-performance peripherals. FireWire is
not just hot-pluggable, it doesn’t require device IDs, jumpers, DIP
switches or terminators. In fact you can daisy-chain up to 63 peripherals
from the two FireWire ports on your G4 Cube. More than enough for any
DV project you can imagine.

Want to reach a wider audience? Publish your movies on the Internet. It’s simple when you sign up for iTools, Apple’s free suite of Internet services. iTools features HomePage, the easy way to build and publish your own website, even if you have no prior experience in web design or coding. All you do is click to select one of the engaging templates, and HomePage does the rest — in seconds. Then point and click to upload your movies to your iDisk (which gives you 20 megabytes of free storage space on Apple’s Internet servers, another great benefit that comes with your iTools account). Boom — you’ve just turned your new website into an online theater.
