The following steps show you how to copy your music to your Mac from the Switch CD and then how to add the music to your iTunes library.


On the Mac
Insert the Switch CD in your Mac.
When the disc shows up on the desktop, open it by double clicking.
Double click the “Music” folder.
Select your music files by choosing Select All from the Edit menu.
Copy the files by choosing the Copy command from the Edit menu.
Navigate to your “Home” folder on your hard drive by choosing Home from the Go menu.
Double-click the “Music” folder.
Transfer the music files by choosing Paste from the Edit menu.
You should see a progress bar showing the name of each music file as it is transferred.
Start iTunes by clicking the iTunes icon on the Dock.
When iTunes has started, click on the window named “Music” and choose Select All from the Edit menu.
Click on one of the highlighted files and drag the selection, keeping the mouse button pressed, to the iTunes window. When you release the mouse button, iTunes will add every song to your music library.
It’s time to celebrate. Find your favourite song by typing a word or two of its title in the iTunes Search text field, select it and press the Play button. You can continue to listen to music while you finish your migrating the rest of your files.
