Download the current version of Palm Desktop 4.0 designed for Mac OS X from Palm. |

If your Palm handheld uses an older serial port connection for the HotSync cradle, you’ll probably need the Palm Connect USB Kit. |

Follow the instructions in the Palm Desktop 4.0 software, connect your HotSync cradle to one of the USB connectors on your new Mac (possibly with the help of the Palm Connect USB Kit) and press the HotSync button. After a short period, all of your Palm data will be downloaded to your Mac. |

On the Mac, you’ll need to make sure that your Palm device is hooked up properly and ready to sync with the Mac.
