Newsletters, Business Reports, Forms and countless other documents are created in the Adobe PDF format. We’re sure you have lots of PDFs on your PC that you need to keep and we are also sure that you’ll be glad to know that Mac OS X handles PDF as if it were built right in. Oh, that’s right — it is. PDF is the standard graphic file format of the Mac, so all you need to do is to move your PDF files over and you’re all set. In fact, Mac OS X has a very cool feature: it can save virtually any document in PDF format, using the Print Preview command.

You should find all of your important PDF files in your “My Documents” folder. If you already copied these files when you copied your Office productivity documents to the Switch CD, you can skip this step.

Off the PC
Open the “My Documents” folder on the desktop and find any folders that contain PDF documents.
Click the folder and copy it using the Copy command in the Edit menu.
Click on the “Adobe PDF Files” folder of the Switch CD and transfer the PC PDF folder using the Paste command in the Edit menu. You can also copy it by dropping the original folder in the Switch window.
Repeat the previous two steps for additional folders that contain documents you would like to transfer.
Look for any PDF files you might have stored on your desktop. Copy those files to the PDF folder of the Switch CD as well.
