Set Up MobileMe

Get the latest software.
- Download and install the latest version of iTunes (v10.3 or later).
- Connect your iPhone or iPod touch to your computer, launch iTunes, go to the iTunes Summary tab, and then click “Check for Update.”
- Follow onscreen instructions to upgrade to the latest version of iOS (4.2 or later), if you haven’t already. For more information about system requirements, click here.
- For the best experience, connect your device to a Wi-Fi network.

Enable MobileMe push synchronization.
- On your Home screen, tap Settings.
- Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Make sure Fetch New Data is set to Push.
- Tap Add Account and choose MobileMe.
- Enter your MobileMe account information, then tap Save.
- Turn on Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, Notes.
Important: If prompted, choose “Merge with MobileMe” to make sure the contacts, calendars, bookmarks, already on your device sync with MobileMe and are not duplicated.

Turn on Find My iPhone.
- Turn on Find My iPhone* to let you find your device on a map at me.com/find.
- Tap Done.
- Turn on Passcode Lock so only you can turn Find My iPhone on and off:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap General, then Passcode Lock.
- Enter a passcode and confirm.
Now that you’ve completed the steps above...
In a few minutes, your email, contacts, and calendars on your iPhone or iPod touch will be available at me.com and will stay in sync with any other devices you set up.

You can send and receive messages from your MobileMe email address using the Mail app on your iPhone or iPod touch.
iDisk
You can view and share files right from your iPhone or iPod touch. Just install the MobileMe iDisk app from the App Store.
Find My iPhone
You can locate your misplaced device directly from another iPhone or iPod touch. Just install the MobileMe Find My iPhone app from the App Store.
Contacts, Calendar, Safari, Notes
Your contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and notes always stay in sync, over the air.
Photos
You can upload photos from your iPhone to your MobileMe gallery in just a few taps. And install the MobileMe Gallery app from the App Store to flick through your entire gallery on the go.
