Setting up Windows Mail with MobileMe

  1. In the Tools menu, choose Accounts.
  2. Click the Add button, choose “E-mail account”, and click Next.
  3. Type the name you would like others to see when you send email. When you’re finished, click Next.
  4. Enter your MobileMe email address and click Next.
  5. Enter the following server information. When you’re finished, click Next.
    Incoming email server type: IMAP
    Incoming mail server: mail.me.com
    Outgoing email server: smtp.me.com

  6. Enter your MobileMe member name and password and click Next. Windows Mail Email Name and Password Screenshot
  7. Click Finish. Your MobileMe email account is now set up in Windows Mail.
  8. If you are having trouble viewing your IMAP mail folders, choose your MobileMe account and go to Tools > IMAP Folders. Click Reset List. Select the folders you want to view in Windows Mail and click Show.
