How do I subscribe to a podcast?

Do I need a credit card to subscribe to podcasts?

No. You do not need a credit card or an iTunes Store account to download and enjoy the podcasts available on the iTunes Store. You will need an iTunes account to submit a podcast for inclusion on the iTunes Store podcast catalog.


How do I add a podcast to your catalog?

Easy! Make sure you have iTunes 4.9 or later installed. Then, just fill out this form. iTunes will launch and take you to the right page to add your podcast.


I submitted my podcast for inclusion. Why hasn't my podcast been added yet?

We review all submissions carefully in the order they were received. It may take 1-2 weeks to review your submission.


How do I remove my podcast from your catalog?

Please refer to the iTunes podcast specification to learn how to block your podcast from iTunes.


Why was a podcast removed?

There are many reasons a podcast might have been removed from our directory. Here are a few:

  • The podcast wasn't working properly, and users were having difficulties downloading or playing it.
  • The podcast was listed in an incorrect category or language.
  • The podcast contained explicit content without an explicit tag.
  • The podcasts contained copyrighted material, and the copyright owner asked us to remove it.
  • The podcast contained an old or duplicate feed.
  • The podcast's owner asked us to remove it.

Please navigate to the podcast's page on the iTunes Store. Click on the "Report a concern" link and select the appropriate issue from the pulldown. The iTunes Store team investigates all reports carefully.
