If you have reviewed the articles on the website, and you're still not sure whether your iSight requires service, you can take your iSight to your local Apple Authorised Service Provider for diagnosis. Note: There may a fee for diagnostic service. Your iSight is covered by Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty. Warranty service for eligible repairs is available at no charge for twelve months from the date of original retail purchase ("date of purchase"). Your iSight is covered by Apple's One Year Limited Warranty for one year from the date of original purchase. Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty begins on the date that the iSight was originally purchased. Apple may need to examine your proof of purchase document to verify your iSight's warranty status. Warranty service for eligible repairs is available at no charge for twelve months from the date of original retail purchase ("date of purchase"). Take your iSight to your local Authorised Apple Service Provider. Your service will take approximately one week from the date your iSight is dropped off for service to the date you receive your replacement iSight. You can check the status of your iSight service at any time by contacting your local Authorised Apple Service Provider. |
If your iSight is no longer covered under Apple's One Year Limited Warranty and it requires service, your iSight may be replaced for a fee. All fees are in Australian dollars and are subject to GST. Replacement iSights may be new, used or refurbished. Service may not be available if your iSight has been damaged due to accident or abuse. Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty for iSight excludes coverage for damage resulting from accident, unauthorised service and unauthorised modifications. Please review the warranty for further details. Apple reserves the right to refuse service on iSights that are outside their warranty if damage has occurred due to accident, abuse or misuse. In such event, Apple will return your iSight to you without providing service, and may hold you responsible for shipping costs, plus any applicable sales tax. See Apple's Repair Service terms and conditions for details. If Apple provides service under warranty, the terms of the warranty and applicable provisions of law will cover defects in materials and workmanship that arise during the warranty or 90 days after iSight service, whichever provides longer coverage for you. If iSight service is provided outside of warranty, Apple warrants that the repairs to your iSight will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ninety (90) days from the date of the iSight service. |
