Connect iPod 6th gen to aux using Lightning to 30-pin Adapter

Hi I purchased the Lightning 30-pin adapter to connect my iPod to an aux cable to use on my home stereo.
It does not seem to be playing with my stereo sound. Is there a tip I'm missing or should I just return the product and get my $45 back?

  • Hey Byron,

The headphone jack out of the ipad is a better bet than a 30 pin connector for stereo output to a reciver/amp. Of course most amps do not have a stereo 3.5mm/ 1/8 inch stereo in, so you will have to obtain another adapter to complete that connection. I think the 30 pin adapter may put out only mono analog.
