    Although I do not have this personally, my understanding is this will allow any USB 1.0 to 3.0 device (such as a USB "Memory Stick" aka "USB Thumb Drive" aka "USB removable flash storage") device to be plugged into a USB-C port on a computer/laptop/etc (potentially any android devices that come out with USB-C ports as well, so long as the device supports "USB OTG". I don't believe it has the extra connectors for USB 3.0 so USB 3.0 memory sticks will probably drop down to USB 2.0 speeds, but you'll have to find more detailed specs or someone with the adapter to verify.

    Short Answer: Yes, a USB memory stick will plug into a Mac/PC/etc-which uses a USB-C connector, if you use this adapter. Hope this helps.
