Will this adapter support the following legacy adapters on the latest MacBook Pro with Touch Bar:
• Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter
• Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter
• Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter

    It will support Thunderbolt adapters, but not Mini DisplayPort adapters. See Apple Support article HT207266.

  • The Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter allows using Thunderbolt to FireWire and Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapters.

    Use a USB-C to DisplayPort cable to use DisplayPort adapters.

    Apple has a support document entitled "About the compatibility of the Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter" detailing it (I'm not allowed to post the link here).

  • It WILL support the Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. It WILL NOT support the MDP-VGA and DVI adapters. Source: apple support document HT207266 "About the compatibility of the Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter".
