Is it true that this printer defaults to printing in color and although the default can be changed on a pc, this can't be changed on a Mac? COSTLY!
I read a review on Consumers Report website that described this problem, and HP told a buyer this was the case. Of course, you can change this setting manually, you have to do this: Every. Time. You. Print. If you forget or get lazy, the printer will use color ink on every page and will really run up the cost. Also, if this is true, why would Apple sell this printer which doesn't support basic functions on the Mac?
