    Very Pleased

As a previous PC user, and only just recently moving over to Mac, I've been really pleased with this keyboard. The build quality is really good, and the hot keys at the top are really useful. Also, the two USB ports are nice to have and make life a bit easier - no more messing about with cables at the back of the computer. All-in-all, a very good and comfortable keyboard that seems to be built to last.

    Pretty good

I absolutely love the ergonomics of this keyboard. The keys are quiet and it feels like you're typing on a laptop. Typing is very smooth. I'm in love with it, it makes me actual want to type essays for school! One problem, though, is the caps lock key. It takes a serious push on it for it to respond. Most of the time when I'm typing and I try to push the caps lock key, it doesn't turn on unless I take the time to look at it and push it down harder in the very center. Otherwise, great product, I recommend it.

    Best Keyboard ever?

I got one of these a few weeks ago with an Aluminium iMac.
I'm about to buy one for my girlfriend's PC.
I was concerned that it would feel flimsy and not be good to type on but needn't have been; it's wonderful for touch typing and is manufactured to a high quality.
The keyboard works fine with OS X, Windows XP/Vista and Linux, but in Windows some of the keys had to be re-mapped; in Linux I just selected the Mac keyboard layout and everything was fine.
I have the GB layout which is very similar to the US layout.
What don't I like about it?
The # key is Alt + 3, the Esc and ctrl keys don't have the symbols on them to correspond with the symbols in the OS X menus.

That's it. I'm very fussy about keyboards to the point where I was going to have one custom made at great expense, but this is as close to perfect as a keyboard ever has been.

    Another great product

The Apple Keyboard, while at $50 is a little more than you'd expect to pay for a keyboard, is one of the best keyboards I've ever used. It's quiet but has great key response. On top of that, it LOOKS good. The aesthetic quality is what puts already superior Apple products of the top.

best keyboard i have ever used

This is a 5***** product and it works on WINDOWS!!.For £29 you cant ask for more. it has a very nice feel to the keys. they are easy to press and are not to close together making misstypes a thing of the past. my typing speed has increased when using this keyboard because it is so easy to navigate around it. A great product and well worth the money, ultra slim and they mean it. i would recoomend it if you lack desk space. although i think the mouse apple make is a bit..... clunkey. i would reccomend this keyboard to anyone.

    Best Keyboard ever

We had the old keyboard from the first Intel iMac, and the buttons consistently stuck. Rather than buying a new iMac, I know what a horrible reason to do so, we bought a new keyboard. This thing is perfect for email, documents, and world of warcraft.

    Hurts my wrists

I just bought an imac and I think this is the keyboard that comes with it. I love the way it looks, its lightweight, sleek, fairly quiet, and clean looking. It takes up minimal desk space. But after 1 1/2 weeks of using it I noticed my wrists have been hurting like crazy! If you are using your computer minimally and like the look of it, I'd say this keyboard is just fine, but if you are using your mac for extended periods of time, I'd look into buying another keyboard that is more comfortable. If the keyboard that comes with my imac ever breaks, I would not buy this keyboard again. I'd look for something else. I am actually looking to replace this keyboard with another kind.

Looks good. Works not so good.

Fabulous looking keyboard. Horrible performance. It seems that you really need to press the keys or it doesn't register. Same thing with the Shift key seems like you have to depress it in the middle or it doesn't sense it. I would serious consider looking on ebay or the used market for the previous style keyboard or gulp!, third-party keyboard. Just doesn't have the right feel. Go to your Apple Store and try it first.

    Great Customer Service

I called in after finding that my keyboard had been bent up a little bit in the mail (probably just due to heat), and the guy was like, "Okay, we'll just send you another one." He got my information, and another one is on its way.

I love these keyboards, and now I'm a fan of their customer support, too.

    Never thought...

Never thought that I would come across a keyboard that I would like better than the good old trusted IBM model M keyboard. That model M was very sturdy and had a good feel to it. And my typing speed was higher than on other keyboards.

This Apple keyboard is a lot more slender while not giving the impression that you have got something under your fingers that will easily break. And while I can imagine that some may not like the new keys, I suspect that I will leave my old M-based speed records behind me in a couple of days.

Ergonomically this keyboard also suits me very well. I can easily type with my wrists in the same position as I play piano or synth. For me, a joy to type on.

    Best ever!

This is the best keyboard I've ever used. The touch is soft but positive and precise. I can type faster and with less effort with this keyboard - and I think that's the best test.

    Amazing & Works With PC

This keyboard it absolutely amazing, the keys are crisp and tight, without the "1 inch throw" of other keyboards. I bought one to use with my MacBook Pro when on the Monitor, and i was so impressed i hooked it up to my PC and it worked! so I got a second one. Also the 2 extra USB's are nice (especially if you have a wired mouse or memory stick)

    Mostly, I love it

I love the thinness of the keyboard and the case. It allows me to type without the artificial bending up at the wrists. Looks awsome. Types just like my MacBook (which is to say wonderfully, easily). Once you learn to type on a 'small movement' keyboard, it makes you faster. And it becomes very hard to go back to a normal keyboard where you have to push WAY down on the buttons for no reason. Much faster typing on this kind of keyboard.

Only complaints after 3 weeks of use: Caps Lock sometimes doesn't 'stick'. Have to push it again, because the first time it did not light up. Also, for good wrist angle and desk usage, and being used to a MacBook, I wish the numeric keypad was a trackpad instead. As a right-handed person, the location where the numeric keypad is located is prime desk space-- either for 'mousing' or for writing. So by wasting it on a numeric keypad (I never learned to 10-key fast), I end up needing a lot more desk space, and then it's hard to center they alpha keyboard on the monitor . . .

    ooohhh...i like dat!!!

I love this keyboard. It is thin, the keys are a little weird if you are used to standard big button keyboards. And it's not to light, it has some weight to it, and that's probably my favorite part about it. I don't feel like I am gonna punch through it.

    coolboard

Nice style and feel. Two issues: 1) it toggles between F keys or audio controls but you can't have it all at once like in the older white/clear model 2) too small print on F keys

    about the function keys...

All you have to do is go to SystemPrefs/Keyboard&Mouse/Keyboard and select "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" and you will have normal function keys, no need to be bitter!

    Awesome!

I am a new MAC user and I must say this keyboard rocks.

    1. It is virtually quiet.
    2. The USB ports are a big plus.
    3. I like the size. Much smaller then what my DELL's was.
    4. I like the laptop style feel.

Overall this is an amazing little keyboard that just brightens me day to use.

I love it, but one word of "warning"

I love this keyboard.. and makes changing from desktop to laptop keyboards easier (I always have to adapt a bit typing on one vs. the other.)

I did find one problem. I am on system 10.4.11 running on an Intel based mini. I had to work some disk repair magic and the computer would not recognize the new keyboard for booting off the CD drive - I had to use the old keyboard to do this command. Apparently, there is a firmware update, but only works with 10.5 (or so the Apple support page said at the time.) So might be good to hang onto the old keyboard for a bit if this is your situation.

    Many pros, very few cons

    PROS:
Thin, lightweight, and incredibly stylish. Typing is extremely quiet, and there are plenty of function keys to customize.
A BIG pro is the presence of two USB ports. These are great, I have my mouse's wireless receiver in one and use the other for my iPod or USB stick. This is a huge advantage over the wireless keboard.

    CONS:
The keyboard isn't height adjustable. However for me personally, it is at the perfect height anyway.
