    Poor quality Apple product

I thought I had upgraded my phone when I switched to IPhone. The cable has been such a frustration so far. Need to hold on for a few more months before can upgrade to a different phone.

    Don't buy this

I went through 5 of these charging cables in the past year. Without fail, every 4 months or so, it'll stop connecting. Previously, I had the 30 pin one for over 2 years before I had any issues.

I'm seriously starting to think Apple makes this so shoddily just so you're forced to keep buying new ones. Recently I switched over to a Belkin one and so far it seems to be holding up much better.

    Horrible Charger

I have had my iPhone 5 for a year now, and gone through 5 chargers. These chargers are so poorly made and last around two months. Obviously everyone else is unhappy with them as well... They need to do something about them! I am seriously considering switching to a non-apple cell phone with my upgrade. I'm a poor college student! I can't keep buying new chargers!

I would get a Windows phone just to avoid these cables.

I've had my iPhone less than a year. I've gone through 8 cables. 8 of them. In one year. Get your self together Apple. I had other apple products for 6 years before my phone, I had one cable in that entire time die on me. These are an absolute piece of junk

    Very poor quality product

I own an iphone and MacBook and have come to believe that Apple must assign cord design to the most incompetent, useless engineers in the company. Either that, or Apple doesn't care about customers. I'm replacing the cord AGAIN for the same reasons listed again and again in other reviews and it really annoys me. Charge me an extra $20 for a workable, longlasting cord -- I'm sick of Apple repeatedly charging me for poor quality accessories. Am really considering going elsewhere for my next phone.

    Already broken

I had to hold the cable straight when plugging it in for the last month, now it completely does not work. Apple needs to beef up the cable a little bit to make it more robust, because these are too expensive to replace. I have 30 pin iPod connectors that are probably 8 years old and work fine, what happened with this thing?

    Not strong cable

Very expensive and cost too much for nothing, made of very expensive material but it has a trick in each end to make it very easily to damage, it doesn't last 2 months of use and will be disable by a macbook or air book,

    I do not recommend.

    Buy flat cables

    wowww

I got my phone for Christmas. It is currently February 6th and my charger is already wearing out. I have to hold straight for it to charge and we all know that will only work for a few days. I have a MacBook Pro as well, and I'm comparing the rubberized part of the cord and the computer charger's is much thicker and more durable - I don't understand why that couldn't be used for the phone chargers. Also, the old MacBook chargers were problematic and Apple has since changed the design and I haven't had a problem since. Please fix this lemon of a charger.

    JUNK

Piece of Junk. This cable I have had for a little over 5 months and it already doesn't work. It stays at my house at all times and I take care of it but it won't even charge my iPod anymore. Furthermore, I don't want to give another 20 of my hard earned dollars to apple for another junk cable that will break in half a year.

    No help

I called apple and and they told me they were unaware of any problems with the cords not lasting very long and that they should last longer than 3 or 4 months. The battery itself on my phone is a joke and I can't keep it charged because all of my cords keep crapping out. I have always loved having an iPhone but I am to the point where the battery should not hold me hostage on using my phone and I shouldn't have to go through all these steps to try and save battery life. I am going first chance I get to my carrier and begging for an early upgrade because I am tired of having to constantly worry about my phone dying and out of the 5 cords that I have none working

poor quality from a high end company

I am tired to wasting money on cables that quit on me after 4 months! I should be lucky bc other users tell me they usually lasts 3 months.

    Zero rating

I would give this a zero rating if possible. My household of 4 is full of Apple charge cables that don't work. Apple should take these back and replace them as needed until they can produce a cable that lasts the life of the phone!

Another in a Line of Awful Apple Cables

Apple, your cable quality has been awful since my original ipod nano all the way up to my 5s. Functionally they work perfectly and as they should but their durability is no where near what a company with your resources should be producing. Ive had my phone for about 3 months and charge my phone next to my bed just lying there. The cable is already beginning to show through the jacket as it has with every charge/sync cable you have every produced. Seriously you invented the product but you do not produce the best option available for anyone reading this griffon produces excellent thick durable cables which are slightly more expensive but actually last. Thanks for nothing Apple.

    What junk.

I don't mind paying such outrageous prices for apple products because they're generally worth it... but to pay $20 for something that lasted me 2 weeks is ridiculous. I'm so, so not happy. And the worst part is having no choice but to pay ANOTHER $20 just to replace the first piece of junk that wasn't worth that much to begin with! Maybe it's time to switch to products that cost less because apple is not the quality it used to be.

    Rubbish wire

I have bought two of these! They work fine until a wire comes loose and they stop charging. Apple have a fault with this wire. Very disappointing because iPads are great but no good if you can't charge it.
