    So annoying

    Apple must come up with a better quality cord. I have been through countless cords now and its always the same problem. The cable disconnects from both the usb end or the lightening end. The wires are too flimsy. My partner is with samsung.... this is not an issue for him or any of my other friends who are not apple users, so why apple? Why continue to let this happen? just make a better product, or keep finding ways to take money out of your customers pockets. Apple customers pride themselves in choosing the best company therefore we expect to have the best quality. Do something and fast!

    Apple charger cable not worth the money

    I have had my iPhone 5s for about a year now. During this time I have gone through 4 of these cables! No matter how I lay the cable down it seems to tangle and become loose thus causing my phone not to charge. I believe Apple should take a look at an alternative material to use when producing these cables as its clear to me they are flimsy. I hope they read reviews, because charging $30.00 for a cable (No adapter included) which breaks or malfunctions after a handful of uses is unreasonable. Please fix the issue

    I was nervous with the reviews... but I love it!

    I saw how many people were having terrible luck with this product, but I took a chance with it. I have had it for over two months now, and I haven't had a single problem. It charges my iphone very quickly, doesn't overheat, no problems with connectivity. It was a great purchase!

    great cord

    I bought this cord to have a longer lightning cord and am very pleased with it. I see all kinds of reviews about iPhone cords not lasting long. I have had every iPhone from the 3 to the present 5s and have never had a cord fail. Yes I am careful with them. I only pull on the plug, not on the cord and I don't kink them, i roll them up. Granted, I do not have to carry one with me to work as my battery keeps a charge through work hours so mine are only transported when I travel, but even if one does have to carry one with them every day, how in the world does it stop working in a month? Just use common sense and be a bit careful. Even my husband (who is a bit careless with his phone and cord) has never had one fail.

    TRASH

    The cord gets bent very easily at the top. If you treat it well and don't bend it, it still doesn't work. I have bought 6 chargers and I haven't even had my iPhone 5s for a year yet. I've tried different brands of cords and it says not accessible for your phone. The cord just doesn't work and it needs to be fixed this is getting ridiculous.

    Not worth it at all

    I am now buying my 5th cable. They continue to fray and break down without there being any significant use. I am so disappointed but what is my alternative?

    STEVE WOULD FIRE EVERYONE

    I've gone through 5 cables and the sixth is on its way out. I love the Apple brand as I have everything Apple, with the exception of a TV that they have yet to produce. They better fix this with the iPhone 6 coming out soon. If not, they will lose a loyal customer to Android (ughh)...

    Charger

    These chargers are one of the worst chargers in the world. I don't bend or play with them while my phone is charging and they brake. They are the most flimsiest and thinnest chargers in the world and most easy to brake. If Apple wants to carry on making money and keeping customers happy the they really need to think of ways to make the charger stronger and less harder to brake and bend. It's ridiculous. Get it sorted

    Terrible Quality

    I have now had to replace my cable twice since the beginning of the year! These cables break too easily and the price for such unpredictable products is far too high. Not cool Apple.

    Totally let down

    I bought a 16GB iPad Air on December 15th 2013 presuming that I was buying a quality product - however, I have been badly let down. I am having to buy a 3rd charging cable in that time. I have been very careful with my iPad as it helps me to keep in contact with friends and family when I am not able to get out and about, as I am a disabled pensioner.
    Obviously, my next smartphone, tablet and lap-top will not be Apple.

    Worthless cable

    I'm ordering my fourth lightning cable for my iPad retinal display...doesn't matter what length it is?.it breaks where the cord attaches to the lightning plug...This is ridiculous...I'm going on a month long trip to Africa and will have to take a spare just in case. I hate this product.

    I'm very upset

    I have purchased 2 iPad airs, an iPad mini, and 2 5s phone sthis year replacing all of our old previous gen gear. Also bought another 27" iMac (3500.00 model) and another Thunderbolt Display.

    ALL of our cords on the iPads and phones have gone belly up. I travel extensively and HAVE TO HAVE my gear working and charged. Going to my local apple store today with a handful of bad cords. They better replace them AND give me spares.

    Works as advertised, so far has lasted 1.5 years

    I don't know what other people are saying about it breaking every month or so, but I've had mine since I got my iPhone 5 1 and a half years ago. The original cable still works perfectly, and is a great product. Thank you Apple!

    The worst piece of accessory I have ever seen in my 40+ years...

    I've used computers and mobile phones for a great many years, if I could give this cable a hefty minus rating I would, I have never ever seen something of such appallingly poor quality, not even in cheap computer accessories I bought in Asia...
    It is simply bad bad bad.
    Shame on you Apple for peddling such infoerior products. And to those who (probaby from Apple's staff...) say oh it's just a question of how careful you are, it's not. I've just had it by my desk in the office and it breaks cause it's a poorly designed cheap piece of (bad language goes here)...

    BIG Disappointment

    I purchased this USB cable thinking it would last a lot longer than the one that
    came with the Ipad. What a huge disappointment. I haven't used it for a year (generous estimate)
    and it has already quit working. So now I am back to using the supplied USB cable.
    I am wondering if I received a defective one, or if this is a problem that others are experiencing?

    I will look for my receipt and see if it came with a warranty. Seems like Apple should stand behind their
    product.

    Very Poor

    The worst apple product I have owned, I love apple products but this charger has to be the worst product I have ever come across for a charger, even BlackBerry were better for chargers, I have had the charger since I got my iPhone 5c in May 2014 and the wire has melted partly and then the charger stopped working completely this morning straight after use, not happy, product needs to be stronger!!!

    Still working 1 year later

    I bought the 2 m version over a year ago and it is working fine without any sign of wear. However, a 1 m one (that came with my iPhone 6) wore through at the lightning connector end just as so many reviewers have communicated. But all my kids (4) and my wife have had lightning connectors for the past 0.5-1.5 years and it is just one of the six that wore through. With that said, one is too many. Apple makes quality products, but it doesn't take much for otherwise satisfied customers to become disgruntled. Come on Apple!

    SO SICK OF REPLACING THESE POORLY MADE CABLES!!!

    After years of being an iphone user im finally going to give it up...Can't even count how many of these Ive had to replace..wouldn't be so bad if they allowed use of cheaper cables but getting FORCED into repeat purchases of an expensive bad product has worn very thin over the years and I'm over it!
