Charges phone fast and long time battery

I'm online again to buy another charger, this is the third charger I'm getting. Apple needs to do something about producing durable chargers. The chargers only last for about a few weeks. The chargers are too expensive to buy a new charger every other week. I've spent close to $100 on buying new chargers in less than 3 months. It's a BIG SLAP on Apple for not been able to produce a common charger that can satisfy it's customers. JUST TOO SAD!!!!

Great product providing you don't stretch cable

Everyone complains about these cables, works very well. I charge mine in the kitchen and have two iPhone's and the original cables 6mths later.

For all those complaining use common sense when plugging in and you will be fine

Quality is not an act, it is a habit. Quality + Brand = Peace Of Mind

Bought this one at apple online store and after 6 month no complain so far. In past I have spend many $$$ buying lightning connectors. they are very low grade material with compatibility issues. Go for this product if you are looking for quality and peace of mind.

    to much money

I have already spent over $150 on the phone cords alone.
I really wish apple did not change it to the lightning, my ipod cord from over 2 years ago, works perfectly fine. these cords maybe last a month or 2.
I have bought different ones from apple, amazon, belkin. just seems like nothing will work for my iphone 5, it would be much cheaper to just get a different phone

These chargers are a rip off. I have been through around SEVEN chargers now after only a few months. I have tried this product, as well as the amazon knock off product, but neither work. This product has caused me A LOT of frustration and money. I am one very unhappy customer, and have honestly thought about switching phones just to save money in buying more and more chargers.

Poor Quality Lightning to USB Cable

This cord lasted 3 months. It will not charge my ipad at all. I will look for a better product to charge my Ipad if one exists. I think the cord connector is flimsy and looks to be stretched where it connects to the plug.

    iPad charger cables too Flimsy

The cables really stink, they are too Flimsy either they break off at the head or the wires come out. I've bought over $200 worth of these and they always fail eventually. I've tried Belkin and a couple other ones too and they are no better. I've had iPad Air since the first day they were available and my only complaint is the charging system.

You limit the type of cables that can be used, and then you sell us junk.

I have had this cable for just over 3 months. Yesterday, out of the blue, the cable stopped charging my phone. I love the length, but the product should last longer than approximately 100 days. I have this cable by my bed and use it at night to charge my phone. I have not abused the cable, twisted it, or otherwise neglected it. I expect better quality from Apple. If you're going to require Apple accessories to be used with Apple products, at least sell us a product that lasts, especially for the price.

    Long Enough

I purchased this 2-meter cable for primary use at the office. It is long enough to be plugged-in from the power source at the floor all way up to my standing desk. Good quality cable, so far.

You can return a broken one! Don't keep repurchasing!

As with many of the reviewers here, our iphone 5 cords don't last very long. However, it's good to know that their products are covered for a year. You can take broken cord into apple store with receipt and they will give you a new one.

If you keeping buying new ones, they will never fix the problem (they're making too much money off us). As long as we are returning them every month or two (which is about the amount of time they last), they'll lose money and fix the stupid cord.

    $39? For a USB cable?

I could _possibly_ come at paying $19.00 for a genuine Apple USB cable. But $39? Not a hope. For that price, the charger should be included! I'll take my chances with non-original cables -- I could buy 6 - 10 of them for the same price Apple is charging for one! Apple is being disingenuous and effectively forcing people to buy a non-genuine cable with pricing like this -- which could lead to poor customer experience and damage to the Apple brand. Yes, everyone knows accessories are almost all profit, but for a cable that literally costs less than $1 to manufacture and ship to Australia, this pricing is highway robbery.

Had mine since 2012 until I destroyed it!

I upgraded to iPhone in December 2012 and my cable was fine until February this year when I FORCED it into my phone following an accident with my phone and hot water which caused residue to block the charging socket. Other than that I have had no problems. So either (1) the manufacture of the cable post-December 2012 is very poor or (2) people are not looking after their cables. I NEVER wrap mine tightly. In fact I RARELY wrap it at all! It usually stays in one position where my phone is charged nightly.

I have to buy ANOTHER cord because mine has stopped working AGAIN! I'm not a repeat customer becuase the product is good, I'm a repeat customer becuase I have no choice if I want to charge my Iphone 5. I've purchased my last Apple product. If this 4th cord fails, Im simply getting another phone...that isn't Apple. Ive got a MacBook pro and an Ipad and I've long been a loyal Apple customer (since 1985) , but I'm done! Showing this level of disrespect for your customers isn't a way to build a base of supporters. I'm tired of tossing out $30 for a cord that stops working after a few months becuase you think you have us over a barrel. You don't!

    My cable and wall adapter

My cable and wall adapter after purchasing the iPhone5S broke only two months later leaving me with no phone or charger. This is poor considering how much money we pay for the phones we should at least get a charger that works and continues to work for longer then 2 months, it is such an inconvenience considering how often phones are being used these days. You make people pay great deals of money for the phone and not worrying about the quality of the chargers. They are very important and should work just as well as the phone. It becomes expensive and we shouldn't have to keep getting new ones.

    Poor Usage

I've been in the trade for more years than Apple, and to be fair to them, these cables are consumable items. The reason they fail is due to everyday usage, where they are being stretched, bent near the ends, and otherwise "abused". I would rather the cables fail than the sockets, which would cost you much more to have replaced, and that wouldn't be a warranty issue. We get the same problem with Laptop power supplies.

There is no easy answer, but don't beat up Apple for producing a good low cost product for once, which if you look after will last a long time. My IPAD1 power supply lead is still going 4 years later after heavy usage. I just take more care of it....

Like everyone says, the cords just suddenly stop working. I am beyond angry! I have an iPad and absolutely love it...but have absolutely HAD it with buying new charging cables! I do not yet have a smart phone, but for sure, I will have to choose something other than an IPhone due to this problem. You lost me, Apple. Shame on you for not fixing this problem. Shame.

    Worst apple product

So far the worst product apple ever had, my original apple charging cable is too short. This longer version cost much more than usual charging cables. And the quality is low. It breaks after few month of use. And those third party cables I use have much better built quality. With stronger cable wire, and solid connectors. Yet apple keeps reminding me the accessories not certified and prevent me charging my phone. If apple could not design a proper product, please DO NOT prevent others do a better job for you! I am very annoyed by the charging cable!!!!

    Worst Chargers ever made. Period!!!

Sorry to say these are the worst charger ever I have gone through 5 of these already and I am about to order another one. Apple needs to do better or else they're gonna start losing customers.
