Do not trust the fake reviews from Apple haters or Apple competitors !!!

So far I have bought 3 Lightning to USB Cables (2m). Before I bought my first "Lightning to USB Cable (2 m)" online from Apple's Website, I read the negative reviews about this product online (as I always read the negatives too) and it felt so fake probably from Apple haters or Apple company competitors! They speak about buying lots of cables that were not working after a short period of time! I trusted my past experiences with reading and feeling what reviews can be fake also obviously at fist knowing from my past experiences with lots of Apple products that I purchased and all were great products with great quality. I purchased my first "Lightning to USB Cable (2 m)" around 3 month ago and it is working just fine, it looks and feels great like other Apple products! (Apple Quality!!!). I bought 2 more "Lightning to USB Cable (2 m)" since and I am very happy I did buy them. (I paid $29 each.)
Highly recommended, definitely buy it from Apple website.

    Nice a longer charging cable

The 1 meter was just too short. Now with the charger unit back behind the desk, it now reachs my devices on the desk. The problem is now my wife and kids want it. I have 7 of these for almost two years now and no problems. OEM is the only way. Thanks

APPLE CABLES LAST 10 TIMES LONGER THEN THE CHEAP CERTIFIED ONES!

I CANT BELIEVE APPLE WOULD EVEN SELL A THIRD PARTY CABLE WHEN THE ARE TERRIBLE PERIOD! I HAVE WENT THROUGH 10 SO CALLED " LIGHTNING CABLES" FROM SO CALLED "CERTIFIED BY APPLE PRODUCTS" AND THEY HAVE BROKE, QUIT WORKING OR EVEN BURNED ME!

APPLE PRODUCTS ARE GREAT BUT THEY ARE NOT CAPITALIZING ON THE IMPORTANT THINGS LIKE OFFERING CABLES IN 3feet 6feet and 10feet!!!! APPLE WE ALL NEED YOUR SUPPORT ON THIS ONE! And Amazon should be selling your lightning cable not your competitors!

APPLE CABLES WILL LAST ALMOST A YEAR COMPARED TO THE SO CALLED CERTIFIED GUYS THAT LAST FROM 1 to 30 DAYS AT THAT.

    Lasted 2 months before splitting

The quality of these cables is shocking. Mine lasted just over 2 months before splitting. £25 down the drain. Come on Apple - your stuff is so good, why let yourself down with lousy cables? Can't find any way to claim a refund but really would like one.

    Bad quality

I don't know how apple makes these chargers, I don't care if the style doesn't match, you can still make white cables that lost longer, every few months I need a new cable, I've had my iphone for nearly a year and I've already bought 4 cables, WHY!! you guys need to chill or just give us free chargers if you aren't planning on improving the cables you already make.
Very disappointed apple, I can't believe that a company like you make these bad quality cables, step up your game man!!

Excellent cable despite the bad reviews

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I have 3 devices that use this cable, heck, I still use the original one from my iPhone 5 that I purchased when they were first released. I have yet to have an issue with these cables.

    Really, Apple, Really????

In the past year, I've purchased FOUR (4) Lightning to USB Cables from Apple. The last one being the 2 m version. And all 4 stopped working. Before buying them through Apple, I was buying them from Amazon or local stores at lower prices. So I decided not to buy any more third party accessories for my Apple products. I figured maybe if I purchase directly through Apple I would get a better product. Boy was I wrong. At first I thought maybe it was something we did. But then, I read the comments and noticed that everyone else had the same problems. Apple should really look in to why this is happening and reimburse their customers. These cables are very expensive and Lord knows we can't keep shelling out 20 or 30 dollars just for the cable especially since the block is sold separately! Apple, PLEASE do something about this!

    Junk Cable

I have just gone thru yet another Apple USB cable. I'm not even sure this last one lasted more than 3-4 months before it started fraying at the end and exposing the wiring. This cable is never unplugged or moved and I'm extra careful in how I attach and detach it from my phone in an attempt to make it last more than a few months. The cheapo one I bought from Target lasted longer. I've learned to always keep an extra one on hand. I even ask for them at Christmas and birthdays now. Get it together Apple.

    Not even a year?

I've had an iPhone 5s less than a year and the cable has deteriorated? Yes that right, deteriorated. Although rarely leaving the house, the cable's rubber insulator began by defraying at the iPhone end with eventually gaps forming along most of it's length, thereby revealing the metal shield inside. This is not a particularly healthy situation for other electronic bits, also within the vicinity. I did note that the areas where the insulation had peeled was yellow inside? Isn't this carrying 'recyclable' to an unnecessary extreme? The inside bits will likely still be around when the next set of dinosaurs replace us.

The easy way to double the cost of your iPhone in just two years JUNK

Worthless. Our cables never leave the same plug in the house, yet some how they are trash within a very short time. I'm sick of buying the same thing over and over because of the poor quality. I know I can get it warrantied if I drive an hour and twenty min to the apple store and then stand there for 45 min and get a new one... Thanks Apple, Steve would be displeased

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CORD I'VE EVER USED

Well it's a new year, so it's time to pony up another $30 to replace my iPhone power cable. This will be the 4th one in 4 years, and I'm JUST USING IT LIKE ANY REGULAR PERSON WOULD. Honestly Apple, how can you let this go on? The company is valued now at $700 billion as of this week, and they can't even make a half-way decent cord? Read the 200 awful reviews on here and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Pathetic.

apple cord is an apple cord

Ordered many accessories and computer from Apple. They are Apple products and they are wonderful. Yes, I have had to replace cords, but I also take my cords everywhere, shove them in my purse, pull them from the wall, roll over them with my office chair, lend them to my friends, etc. So, yea, they don't last forever. I just ordered the 2m one and ordering another one for my boyfriend. I actually don't like how long it is, but like it better then the Apple original short Apple cord.

P.S. Yes, Apple there is a problem with both computer cords, and iphone charger cords getting loose or coming apart at the base. I think they may be to fragile or thin. I guess that is what we want aesthetically and compatible for travel. I am sure they will fix it like they fix everything else.

disappointed to find that this is a common issue

I've had several Apple bought lightning cables go bad on me but hadn't realized that it wasn't just my own doing or issue. Now that my second 2 m one went down I had a look around and low and behold the cables themselves are just bad quality!! After having to shell out for countless USB adaptors (and getting rid of no longer functional docks) I want some free replacements! Come on, you made 28 billion dollars profit in one quarter Apple!!! This is the least you can do.

    Wall charger

What am I doing wrong? I am buying wall chargers for my iPad mini everytime I turn around. The quality of this product is very poor!

    AWFUL

I've purchased 4, and I am about to purchase my fifth cable, in a span of 1.5 years, no less!!! Why are your charger cables so cheaply made? I don't do anything out of the ordinary when I charge my iPad and they just stop working!!! You spend so much on the apple product, yet you spend just about as much on replacement cables. With all these customer complaints, has apple issued any recall notices that I'm not aware of? If not, you should think about it! This truly is an awful product. I expected a lot more from Apple!

    Nice and long

Power outlets are most often in the most inconvenient places. Sometimes it's just a struggle find one that's close enough. With this longer cable, you can still use your device comfortably even if it is charging at a far away outlet. Another thing is that the cord (but not the plug) is just a tiny bit thicker than the 1 metre cord Apple gives out with new iPhones and iPads. This makes it feel a little less flimsy.

    Broken again

This lightning design is just rubbish. I cant remember how many of these I have now bought...
The original 30 pin from past phones is still working years later. Come on Apple get your act together and sort this out.

    Poorly Designed for everyday use

Apple keep blocking the use of third party cables, yet the 3rd party manufacturers are the ones actually improving the design of this. The apple cable is too thin especially where it joins the lighting connector, constantly fraying or tearing from daily use of pulling in and out, or using the phone whilst charging causing the cable to bend.

It is such a poor design that for a few cents extra could be fixed, and has been by many third party manufacturers. It is arrogance from Apple that is screwing over customers with such a poorly designed yet essential accessory

    really bad

I've bought so many apple chargers I'm so done buying these useless chargers. Apple's products are already expensive enough, on top of that they want us spending money on a new cord like every month (thats an exaggeration), but seriously i've bought around 7 cords already not including my other family members in my household, apple really needs to fix this or they're going to lose customers for having bad quality cords.
