    Sound Great!!!

They sound great.. But they don't stay in my ear as nice as the old ones did... But everyones ear is probably a little different...

    Absolutely fantastic

I needed new headphones anyway, so I figured I may as well get these new EarPods Apple had been boasting about. was expecting minimal difference from the previous generations, maybe more comfortabe... But I plugged 'em in, and woah. they are fantastic. esapecially for those multilayered tracks with lots of bass and lots of melody. I am very very impressed

    Love buds

I love these new ear buds, the fit perfect. I got the I-Phone 5 (which I love) and the buds were like whipped cream on cake. I have a set of Ludacris SL99 but they hurt my ears when I jam them into my ears to fit tight. The ear buds might fit everyone (consider Shrek) but for my ears they rest comfortably and sound great. I am a tough critic but when it's good, we'll take a bow.

    A bit Disappointing

Even though I did give them 3 stars. I would've given them at least one more. The problem I have with this ear pods is that they still fall out of my ear like all the previous ones. I have to adjust them every 10 minutes other than that I love the sound and the controls on the mic.

Still don't fit, although good sound quality

Unfortunately Apple have spent 3 years designing these and they still don't ship headphones I can use. They fall out straight away for me and I have had to resort to buying some in-ear earbuds. They do have a good sound quality, but the shape and size just mean I can't actually use them. Would really prefer Apple to give a choice on checkout of headphones.

    Terrific!

Perfectly shaped! I have small ears and the ear buds that came with my Ipod Touch hurt my ears terrible and they aren't the best quality. I have to wonder why Apple would send such ear buds with their devices... These are very comfortable, stay in and sound great. The mic is situated in the right place. Very pleased.

I guess my ears are holding them wrong.

I'm pretty glad that these came with my new iPhone, because before making the decision to buy that I was mulling over the idea of dropping $30 on these after experiencing discomfort with my rubber-tipped earbuds. On my very first time out with EarPods I noticed that they felt remarkably loose. Granted, they were not as loose as Apple's previous earbuds, but still enough that after five minutes of walking to my car, these were ready to fall out.

    New EarPods

Yet again, Apple has created an amazing product and an amazing design.
The best thing which I like is the redesgined structure of the speaker and its amazing sound qaulity, which I must say, is better than the old one, with its deeper and more bass sounds.
Over all it is a brillant all round product and is not that expensive.

Better than last version of apple headphones.

I previously owned the old headphones that came with the other iPhones. The good of those where that I had a bunch of them but they broke easily. These new headphones do seem that they will be way more durable. I am runner and these stay in my ears a lot better than the old ones. They sound a lot better, control is a lot more responsive, and looker way better. However, one flaw that I am experiencing is that they tend to hurt my ears after wearing them for like 20 minutes or so. The headphones are meant for one size fits most. Unfortunately, since they hurt my ears, then they don't fit me well. They are slightly too big. In my opinion, the best headphones with the same functions are the iMonsters from ibeats. Super comfortable and best sound quality.

Quality of the sound is so awesome there is no doubt why you shouldn't buy one.

Left handed, so gave them to my husband

I really liked the quality of these head phones generally. They seem to have good sound. I find them comfortable and they even seem a bit more heavy duty than the ear buds (that is, I thought I'd have a less likely chance of destroying the pod wires than I normally do with new ear buds).
However, I am left handed and tend to talk on the phone listening in my left ear, and control my remote with my left hand. This is not a problem with ear buds, even though they are labeled "right" and "left," because the ears are identical. This sounds silly, but I didn't even think about this when I bought my ear pods because I've never had to think of it before. I spent the first day wondering why the sound wasn't very good .... well, I put the right pod in my left ear, so the mic. wasn't facing the correct direction. I tried talking on the phone with the mic/ remote on the right side (so that the speakers would be correct in my ears) but I cannot adjust. :( I swapped for my husband's old ear buds. My question: will Apple make a left-remote version for those of us left-inclined?? :D

Better, but they still drop out of your ears too easily

Ok, they look good, sound good to me,but still fall out of the ears too easily. I was fortunate in that I had a small thin set of rubber ear addapters from another set of headphones. I slipped them over, cut a hole in the end and now they are comfortable and stay in my ears. Can't recommend these yet; wish I could.

Ear ache isn't worth the hype

I have been using this headphone for the past two days now and there isn't much good as well as bad to report.

Comfort: Sure the redesign is nice and is slightly a better fit that the previous model but even after I get them settled into my ears for about 15 minutes my ears start feeling sore. I tried to set them in different positions to see which is best but its the same results where my ears get sore. Maybe if I have surgery to remove some my ears' cartilage then the headphones might fit and feel better.

Sound: Much better: They do have a better frequency response and better dynamics.

Remote: The finger press response is SO MUCH more better! The clicks feel solid and smooth compared to the previous model where I found myself having to click multiple times for the correct sequence.

Summary: Good sound with great user experience for the remote and worth the $30 for those reasons. However, its a gamble with comfort; hoperfully you will have the right size ear where they don't get sore.

I'd like to like these earpods

I've always had trouble with the original round Apple earphones. From the iPhone 3 to 4S, I could never get them to fit into my ear and sit naturally. They would always sit at an odd angle and let the sound leak out (resulting in very tinny audio).

My other alternative was to mash the earphones into my ear, but this was always a temporary solution as the earphones would eventually pop out again.

In short, these earpods suffer the same issue as the original earphones. They're too large and refuse to sit comfortably in my ear.

I've watched videos of people placing these earpods in their ears and they seem to fit very comfortably and snuggly, but they just don't work for me.

Of my experience with these earpods so far -- The audio quality is great, and there's a massive reduction in the noise that comes from handling the cable.

But all of these positive points mean nothing if the earpods don't fit in my ear.

Apple needs to make a SMALLER version of these earpods -- Based on the reviews i'd be happy to pay a premium for them, so long as they fit. As for now, i'm sticking with my Sennheiser 598 headphones, as no earphone on the market seems to fit me correctly.

    Awesome!

Bass is pumping, very loud and very clear sound, much better than the old headphones. Very comfortable to wear in ear, and doesn't fall out as much as the old ones. Also, not that expensive for such a great set of earphones. Buy now, you won't be disappointed!

    Love 'em!

May be the pods are a perfect fit for my ears or my ears are a perfect fit for the pods....
Whichever the case might be....awesome music experience and a great comfortable feel....

Quite nice sound but hurt my ears

The EarPods look lovely, remind me of Eva out of Wall-E. They have a lively bass, and I can pick out things I haven't usually noticed in the treble and midrange ranges.

But they do not fit my ears that well; they work their way out after a short while. Also, they hurt after just ten minutes use.

I got them with the new iPhone. But I am going to stick with my battered old in-ear rubber Sennheiser CX-300s with I got from Amazon for 15 quid five years ago.
