    What an improvement!

Kudos Apple! These little gems fit perfectly in my ears. I find myself going to these over my Bose. When I saw the design I first thought well ok they look different but one size fits all, I think not. Now I can't speak for anybody other than myself but WOW, how comfortable are these earbuds? For me, they fit perfectly and never fall out. I fall asleep at night to my music and they are very comfortable to lay on. Hard to believe! My friend bought a new iPhone 5 too and I'm going to ask him for his since he never uses earbuds; yes I like them that much. Rich full sound.

    Perfection of sound

I have many pairs of headphones from various audio companies making high end earphones.
These are right up there in terms of sound quality with the best of them.
I make no claims of being an audiophile. For the most part I find these so called audiophiles a
Much ado about nothing and some what rubbish.
These earpods are clear in the highs and mid range and deep and tight bass.
I am enjoying listening to my music all over again. The remote, microphone and Siri integration is also great.

Make sure that your ears are the right shape!

In our family only one out of four are able to use these earpods without them falling out. As soon as I put one in my left ear it drops straight out, the right ear fits better. If your ear is the "wrong" shape then these earpods won't be any use to you. It is a shame that Apple did not include a grip to lock the pods into your ear. It's a missed design opportunity.

    nice but too big

I really like the new ear piece, very innovative and I really like the volume up down and pause. It is more solid the the old version but the only caveat is---WAY TOO BIG for small eardrum. Hope on next release it will be smaller and I will definitely be a buyer of the small version.

    absolutely amazing

I have never been able to use an in-ear ear bud without them falling out or not being able to hear them very well. These are absolutely the best I've ever used. They do not fall out and most importantly they sound like a home theater system in your ear. I love them and can't say enough. My kids will all get these for Christmas!

    EarPods Too Big (Again)

Like other people, I could not use the prior Apple earbuds, because they simply didn't fit in my ears... they were just too big. After having this problem with each iPhone I've had (and I've had them all), I was really hoping the redesigned, more inner-ear type would finally work for me. Alas, no such luck; they repeat the one-size-does-not-fit-all design of the prior earbuds. The earpods stay in only if I don't move, and since they're barely in, I only get a portion of the sound with a lot of ambient noise. I guess it's back to strict inner ear type for me, where you get different size cushions to give the proper fit your ear needs. So, if you had this problem with the old Apple ear buds, look elsewhere for your ear phone needs.

    New earpods

Wow! These new earpods are fantastic!
I really can't rate then highly enough. The amount of research apple has put into designing this new product has obviously paid off… the sound quality is unbelievable, a much improvement on the previous in-ear style apple headphones. These great little things have been built with durability in mind, especially seeing as they come complete with their own carry case. From a few days personal use I can say that they give a really comfy fit and I would recommend them to a friend without doubt.

    They're awesome!

I've been using them for a few days now. They sound great and stay in my ears, unlike the previous design. Sounds are crisp and clear. I highly recommend them.

These are a real step up in comparison to the old apple earphones. The old ones, after extended use really heart the ears, but none of that with these new ones. They're also considerably better than my beats that I have been using and are now my earphones of choice.

Really great but poor connection to iPhone 5

These fit great in my ears and I think they would actually stay in my ears but cannot use them because unless I hold the jack tightly in to make the connection they don't work...the sound still comes from the speakers unless I am pushing in on the jack...this is a problem... I will try a new pair...returning these to Apple Store and will review again. Disappointed.

    Doesn't fit all ears

These are the worst fitting earbuds, I have owned. Obviously, most users like them, but they definitely won't accommodate everyone. If I sit motionless, they are comfortable enough. However, they fall out when I simply walk - forget about jogging, jumping, or moving my head around in any direction.

The sound quality is OK, but nothing that sounded better than other earbuds I have owned. This could be due to the bad fit for my ears. Seems like the design-fit actually aided the sound. With a bad fit, comes mediocre sound I guess.

Try 'em before you buy 'em if at all possible.

    1star rating for terrible headphones!!!!!

I have no clue how these headphones got such high ratings.. And I am went to purchase them based on the overall rating, which were high!! BUT DO NOT BE FOOLED!!!! I purchased $20 dollars headphones and they are much better!!! The APPLE EARPODS have one thing going for them- their name!!! But I am absolutely flabbergasted in how people think these EARPODS are great?? I have to assume they have never purchased great earbuds.. I have tried over 5 different brands and have spent over 150 dollars for earbuds and these 30 dollars are not worth 5 dollars to me because they do NOT FIT IN MY EAR. They DO NOT provide Noise Cancellation. Who ever engineered these should go back to the drawing board and figure out a way to provide a more UNIVERSAL fitting earpods!!! And to provide noise CANCELLATION!! Sound quality is good but not awesome! But for $30 dollars sound quality is good!

    Earbuds slip out easily

I know these were re-designed to fit better in the ear, but maybe using a general shape for all wasn't a good idea. I have to constantly put them back in even when i'm standing still. Not a fan of these new earphones. Sorry. I will need to go back to my old ones.
