    The new ear pods are great!

    Much better design than old earphones. These fit in your ear perfectly and don't pop out like the old ones. The sound quality is much better also. Received a pair with my iPhone 5 and I am going to buy another pair, well worth $29!

    Best headphones I've ever had

    I just received the new EarPods in the mail yesterday for my iPhone 4s. I LOVE them. The bass is very clear. A very big improvement from the regular Apple Ear Buds. :)

    Best headphones EVER

    I am a kind of connoisseur of headphones, having had about 10 pairs of headphones in the last year all costing over £120. These are far superior to them all, however, the Apple description above says they are compatible with a wide range of iPod's, yet I have found it is not accurate.

    My iPod nano 2nd generation does not function with the buttons, Software updated, and no button function. Buying these headphones will save you £120 but spend the extra £105 on a new ipod.

    Finally!!!

    These headphones are very comfortable and have a new look. When I turned my music on I was immediately shocked at how superior they were to the last earphones that Apple offered. These headphones are just as good or better than headphones that go for over $100. I have not done a hard workout on them yet but I am optimistic from other reviewers that they will stand up.

    Huge improvement!

    Apple earphones that are actually listenable! The best sounding in ear earphones I've tried.
    I don't like the ones that penetrate too deeply into the ear canal, and I'm please to say that these don't. Chunky remote is far better than the old slim one. Recommended upgrade.

    Great product

    Agree with what a lot of positive things people are saying. These are great earphones, the quality is so much better than the old standard apple ones, and the bass is much improved. The control stick is bit bigger and higher up the earphone, and in all the length of the whole product is a little bit longer than the old ones too. And for those wondering it does works in my mac book pro 15 inch mid 2009 (and yes with mountain lion). Delivery was quick, ordered these on saturday and they arrived today (tues).

    Highly recommend: comfort and price.

    After the good reviews these have got so far and that I was in the market for new earphones I took a punt.

    So far I am pleased. They are extremely comfortable. They sit in the ear rather than requiring to be pushed in so that a silicon grommet can expand and grip your ear canal! That does mean they feel unstable, like they will fall out, but they stay put pretty well.

    I have tried jumping around shaking my head side to side (with no one around!) and they stayed in. I wore them on my commute by train today and one fell out once on the way. I think this is due to the fact that to a certain extent they rely on the weight of the cable keeping them in, so if you tuck the cable through a T-shirt that can cause the cable to get pushed up.

    I wore them on my bicycle commute today. They don't work quite so well. Left pod kept falling out. I think this is because my pollution mask traps the cable which can then push the pod upwards and cause it to fall out.

    The best thing I like about these is the non-rubberised cable. So much easier to handle and untangle! – just what I had been looking for.

    Overall very good for £25, best if you are wearing them with the cable providing a downwards tension.

    Impressive for what they are...

    I never would've thought I'd be giving a pair of apple brand monitors this many stars. However, after the few tests I have given, I can certainly say that these are the best earbuds (in-ear monitors are not ear buds) I have ever heard. They are kind of comparable to Klipsch s4i's/5i's in bass response. Not really as good, but for a third of the price, they are a welcomed accessory. The thing about earbuds is that, unlike in-ears, nobody really hates them. They fit almost all ears and you can still hear everything around you (good when running, talking, etc.). With that said, the earbud's bass response is quite good seeing as there is no proper seal. The low-end is very boomy compared to the s4's, which is sometimes distracting. But I guess there are a lot of bass-heads out there who will appreciate it. The mids are very smooth for what these are. Highs are weak, but, with the sound isolation you get with earbuds, you'll never get to hear them anyway. Definitely does not live up to "sounding better than headphones costing hundreds of dollars," but for the mic+remote, comfortability, and convenience, they are well worth the $30.

    ~~~For the critics, I tested the earpods with Nujabes, Norah Jones, and Michael Jackson lossless (ripped from my own cd's) on my mac with an optical out to a Fiio Alpen E17, and with and without bitperfect. Not the greatest equipment, but overkill for what we have here. Also, if anyone was wondering, there isn't really a significant difference in listening to 256kbps aac's vs lossless through these headphones. Meaning you won't be able to tell a difference unless you're in a near silent space and concentrating. So no need to fret you iTunes in the cloud, or 16gb iPhone/iPod users.
    Wow, for 35 bucks they are great, they smash on the old ones, they have much much more base the old ear buds do not compare. They also fit reeeaaalllly well unlike everything else.
    These actually seem to cancel alot of background noise which is great!
    nothing short of amazing
    these headphones have the highest performance-to-size ratio I've ever seen in headseats of this type. I'm big on audio and usually wear a set of Bose noice cancellation headsets. these have no noise-cancellation feature, but provide powerful sound for being so small. Even the bass is surprisingly smooth. These are well worth the money.
    Best Headphones / Ear Pods that Apple has manufactured so far .... !!!
    The performance is mindblowing. I can say that its a miniature version of Beats Studio. The quality of the materials used is really worth every $ you spend. Its time to upgrade all your headphones to this model and chill out.... !!!
