    Awesome

These are as good as if not better than my $180 Bose headphones. Got my set with iPhone 5 but will be buying anothere set as spare. Great work Apple.

    Great fit less soul.

I like the fit and feel, but it seems that the remote has been moved slightly higher than the old ones and that is a bit awkward for me.

Sofar I did not need to adjust them and hear any ambient noise when I do adjust them in my ear. Although they do have great clarity, which is good for talking on the phone, it is shy on depth and base. For many modern music, it sounds okay but if you like soul (e.g. Adele), classical (e.g. con te partirò), or dimensional sounds (e.g. Rain by Madonna) then you will be disappointed. It is not terrible but it just feels a bit flat.

Sure some might say get over the ear headphone but you can also say just listen from a good set of speakers. I believe it might have been a design choice to improve communication but I will need to see if they are the same as the regular ones for the iPod touch 5g.

    Excellent

The best headphones I have ever had. Got these for my iPad heard all the good reviews and I am impressed personally I think they are just as good as a £100-£200 pair of headphones.5 stars, GO APPLE

    Awesome sound!

I got my iPhone 5 on launch day and had to try these out, I own a pair of Bose headphones that are very similar in size to these. After trying them out I can't really tell a difference between these and my Bose pair, except the price.

    Ow!

I was so excited to get the new headphones with my iphone5 because I heard that they had made them smaller and the old design hurt my ears. Unfortunately, they are actually larger and are a weird shape that hurts my ears even more!

I don't understand why they can't include the kind that have the changeable squishy end pieces so those of us with smaller ears can still have comfy headphones.

The sound quality is good but not as great as I had hoped.

    New Apple EarPods

First off, let me start by saying the sound quality is much improved over the old headphones. They actually produce a full sound. However, they are one of the most uncomfortable pair of earbuds I have ever worn. I had to take them out after an hour of wearing them because they became unbearable. If I had to choose, I would take the old earbuds any day.

    Way to go Apple!

Got my iPhone 5 a few days ago and left my EarPods in the box thinking they were nothing special... Today I finally tried them and I'm a believer. Excellent quality, thank you Apple.

    Better than Bose

I have been using the Bose MEI2i headphones for about 2 years. These have better sound quality overall.

    very impressed

I needed another pair of head phone since my wife and son had taken my other pairs. i was in getting some repairs on my macbook and saw them and thought what the heck $30 how could i go wrong and i knew if i didn't like them I could always return them within the return window.

First the case is cool but realistically ill never use it. as a matter of fact bought them today and I already don't know where it is.

second the comfort is very good I hated the stock apple head phones they used to make my ears hurt after wearing them for awhile. the fit is pretty good for my ears. (this is subjective and your mileage will vary) I was skeptical because they dont have the soft gooey ear gels that most other headphones have but to me these are very comfortable.

I never had any complaints about the old remote but the fact that thsi one is larger is a major plus. easier to feel and jsut plain easier to use.

most people might argue that these let in too much ambient noise but to me this is a plus as i usually use them is places where i need to be alert and still pay attention to what is going on around me ( do not get these if you are looking to drown out outside noise) the sound on these is a vast improvement over the last generation head phones. they wont replace any $100+ headphones but for the price you can't go wrong

    Enjoy

    Finally!!

No need to go outside of Apple to purchase high quality earbuds for $80 or more. Apple has finally nailed it with these earpods. Amazing sound for the price of only 30 bucks.

    Just fantastic!

I received these bad boys today with the iPhone 5 and all I can say is WOW! Compared to the previous standard Apple headphones, the EarPods blow them out of the water! The sound is clear and crisp. The base is incredible for ear buds. They are immensely more comfortable than the previous ones. The microphone and volume adjustments are also very well redone!
    Bravo, Apple! Bravo!

    Better than my Beats!!

I am so impressed by these earpods!! I rarely ever write a review about a product but these are that good. I own three different sets of beats..one over ear Beats Pro, one on ear Beats Solo HD, and one ear bud Beats Tour. Although these can't compare with the two much higher end models I honestly like them much better than my Beats Tours. They fit my ear well and sound great. I used to never even open the included Apple ear buds when buying iPhones and iPads because I knew how bad they were and they didn't fit my ear at all and I admittedly have big ears. I think $30 is a steal and to get them included with the iPhone 5 made the phone seem that much nicer.

    Very good quality

Very happy with the purchase. Earphones are sturdy, good quality, good sound, deep bass, comfortable. I totally recommend them, especially against the previous Apple models

Sounds great but hands free intermittently cuts out

Don't get me wrong - these are a great sounding pair of headphones for the price and I'm thankful they came with my iPhone 5. The only problems I had were:
    1) The person on the other end would cut out while I was on handsfree. They would intermittently fade out and come back in. It felt like the mic on my end thought I was speaking and was cutting the audio from the other person out prematurely.
    2) There is a fair bit of wind noise when wearing these headphones while riding. It doesn't form a seal like other headphones so it might be expected.

    Otherwise, great in-ear headphones.

    Amazing sound, great price

I received these with the new iPhone, and I am really impressed with the sound produced from the ear pods. Had to get a second pair for my wife. I've had several $100 and up headsets and the ear pods are certainly as good. Very comfy in my ears for long periods of time.

    Highly recommend. No regrets.

    - Overrated -

I bought these new earpods due to all the great reviews it was getting. People were saying they are miles better than the old bud but in my experience so far these are nothing to be amazed about. If you spend 30 ~ 40 ish dollars getting an in ear earphones or a headphone you get much better sound quality.

Sound quality is at best 2 and half star for the price.
but this new earpod comes with much better volume control/mic so I raise it to three stars.

Please make a better informed decision when getting a earphone/headphone. There are better choices out there. You just have to get out of the comfort and misleading zone. Seriously try other brands. Grado makes great headphones.
