Just got my brand new iPhone 6 and the (also brand new) buds doesn't even work. I also tried them with my previous iPhone (4S), my MBP and my iPad, no sound out of it, so... straight to the waste basket where they belong...

    Just Apple

These Are A Massive Imrpovment From Apple's Previous EarPods. They have a better design and actually stay in your ear, plus the volume control makes it great for on the go. I think that Apple has gone down a good path with these EarPods, Now i only hope they make Headphones, Anyone. THEY BOUGHT BEATS SO WHY NOT? Well Probably Just me

Great Improvment, here are some pros and cons...

Been using iDevices since the original iPod. And for a long time the headphones that came with the devices where complete junk.

The remote on the iTouch headphones were a great improvement. And now with my new iPhone 6 they are actually a joy to use! Still the audio suffers due to the fact that they are earbuds, I listen with my PX360 Mixing headphones normally, so I can tell the difference in audio quality.

Let me tell you the pros and cons of these headphones.
    1. Light, easy on the ears, don't pull bad.
    2. Fits Adults and Older Teens well.
    3. Great bass range.
    4. Great mic and controls. In a great place, easy to get to them.

    1. They are $30... This is a little pricy for earbuds. I feel its worth it for what you get.
    2. They don't fit Kids/Small/Young teens ears well. Some might say it actually hurts to try using.
    3. The range is focused on bass, that being said, Highs and even Mids suffer badly. NOT TRUE AUDIO REPRODUCTION. Don't use for professorship mixing or music training.
    4. The insulation is still that rubbery type that apple clings to so much, so that it might crumble or break if you don't take care of them.

This is just my experience, trying to stay true and not present to much favoritism to apple, it's just hard not to.

Absolutely wonderful, great quality and no degrading of that quality. My experiences with these EarPods are excellent and no cheap ripoffs come anywhere close. Alas mine finally broke through my own carelessness and the jack bent. They still work (amazingly) but with a broken jack I don't want to risk plugging them in. I might have to forego a replacement due to budget though. It's a shame.

    Terrible Design for comfort

Are all the reviews that say these headphones fit well and are comfortable to wear written by Apple employees? Without any type of rubber gasket, these headphones do NOT stay in the ear even when you are stationary. The hard plastic casing hurts like heck just trying to set them inside the ear. They may look great, but whoever designed them did so without any consideration that not all ears and ear canals are the same size... Yet again Apple pushes form over function without proper user experience (UX) testing. I now have two unusable pair of earbuds, one that came with my 5s and one from my 6 Plus. Anybody want to buy a pair at a very cheap price (just pay for shipping)?

    Awesome Ear Pods

Recently I began checking out new ear buds. After buying and returning several very expensive brands I found that the Apple Ear Pods were far superior to even the $100 plus ear phones. Nice job Apple.

    Good earbuds, junky build quality

These earbuds came with the phone I purchased in September 2014. The sound was an improvement over previous incarnations of earbuds however after dropping the phone with the 'buds plugged in, the connector broke free of the cable. For $35 Apple should put a bit more quality into their products.

    Fix it!

I have no complaints about its sound quality, fitting, design. They all are superb. But I felt disappointed when I tried to unplug it from my phone, the base came up without the pin and then the earphones died! And that wax in the mics aren't perfect aswell! :( Make sure you fix it ASAP.

    Worst earphones EVER!

I bought these earphones because of all the positive reviews people have left for this product, but after testing them out for myself, I just realized that I made a big mistake! These earphones are TERRIBLE! They are so uncomfortable and awkward! The bass is very good, and the overall sound quality is amazing, but the actual earphones are not. I listened to one song on a decent volume level, and I immediately got a painful headache! Who came up with the design for these earphones? They are shaped so weirdly that they fit so awkwardly in my ears. The bass is so clear that it literally feels like the music is trapped in my ears and spilling into my brain! I couldn't even listen to a few songs because of the terrible headache I got after using these earphones. What a waste of money. What happened to the simple white earphones that came with the older iPod generations? Those were simple and shaped properly. They were round and simple, and the bass wasn't so strong that your ear drums felt like they were under attack. I fear that these earphones could actually cause damage to people's hearing. I warn you not to buy these, get something else!

I actually like that sound and the microphone feature, but my ears have developed sores while trying to wear these. Are these made for men only? They are too large and hurt so bad.

I prefer these over my Expensive ones

I own Bose Mie2i's and Ultimate Ears 600vi's. While I like those two a fair amount I actually prefer to use my Apple Earphones 90% of the time. I find them to be perfectly balanced, very clear and pleasant to listen to without getting fatigued. My Bose are nice but too bass heavy. The UE are very clear but zero lows and their flat EQ just feels so bland. Overall I find my Apple ones to be the best balance.
I love the amount of artistic design put into these as well, they are gorgeous, came packaged in a very handsome case and they look and function very nicely. The reason I continue to stay with Apple (just got my 6 today) is because of polish and attention to detail such as these.

    Hard to clean :(

These earbuds have a ton of bass, good audio clarity, and they fit nicely! The only problem occurs when they don't have any removable eartips. Mine broke because they got too dirty, but it's okay because they're affordable, so I bought a new pair :)

    Simply 5*

50 times better than the old apple headphones, fit better, sound better, better in every way (except collecting ear wax D: a quick clean and wipe fixed though). the wire is very strong. i have a 2 year old set of these that i chewed where the two wires joined to make one and after i accidentally went to sleep on them and got them rapped around my waist, the plastic rubber wire is coming off the join. but i chewed it anyway, it is still very strong and hasn't effected performance. also mine seem to be waterproof. :)

    Okay headphones

These headphones sound very good. The bass is pretty nice. The first few days of me using them they have made my ears hurt and sore. I hope they fix this in the next gen of headphones.

Great fit! Not so great sound quality...

The title says it all really: the fit is great so far more comfortable than earphones with round earbuds, but the sound quality isn't that impressive. The built in mic and play/pause/volume buttons are useful though. Would recommend if you're looking for a pair of earphones on a budget.

The music plays great on it than just hearing it on the speakers of an technoligy. This also work eventhough you acciedently forgot to take it out from the pocket and went through heavy washing and drying. I recommend this as an cheaper and for protective and great sound earpods.
