    Apple are getting worse

I wanted to buy a set of real Apple Headphones since the cheap knock off work until they don't, which is normally not long after buying them.

Buy cheap buy twice, the problem is I could buy six times and not have spent as much on the cheap ones as the total of one of these.

Also there isn't a free delivery charge AND the headphones were two days late getting here.

The headphones are nice, but nothing special from what I can gather so far. Feel properly comfy. Base and quality are no different to my ears than my old pair of the original Apple headphones.

    You are getting worse Apple.

    Great Headphones, With exceptions

These are great headphones for the price tag. One of the main issues that I believe people have with them, is that they put them in wrong. After I had figured out how to properly place them in my ear, I lose the acoustic leakage, and they become great little gadgets. Granted, some things are not always good for everybody, I find them quite delicate and have broken the wires in mine already(about 4-5 months). If you are willing to learn how they are supposed to go in your ear, then you will be impressed with the sound quality.

    Great Sound but problems

These headphones are great. They have way better sound then prev headphones. The remote works great. But, about 2 weeks after I got them my Jack developed a short. So my left earbud is the only one that's working.

It'd be great if they worked...

I personally really like the sound of the headphones. It has a nice, deep bass and an overall good quality. I thought this about my first pair. And my second. And third. And fourth.

Please don't think I continued to spend money on multiple pairs. The first pair came with my ipod (obviously) at Christmas. After those stopped working (I don't remember how long those lasted), I bought a second pair, thinking it was worth the money and it was just a rare error. Then those broke. I sent them in to Apple and got a replacement pair. Then those died. A few weeks ago, my mom gave me hers that she didn't use. Those also just failed.

The issue I have had is that the left earbud's volume drops to maybe a third of the volume if the right side. This has happened to literally all of them. I don't know why it has happened and I refuse to believe it has been because of coincidence that they all broke like that. I am quite frustrated by this issue.

Unless it is just me, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING THESE!

Was skeptical whether to buy or not.
My first Apple product, and was really impressed. It is so comfortable :), you will definitely love this, not loose like other earpods or not too clingy to ears like the in-ear headphones. produces great sound.

    Got for my Nexus 4.

Hope Apple releases a great but a little less expensive iphone in the coming days. Definitely add a plus one to Apple fans :)

    Thank you for this product

I've always had problems with regular 'in ear' earphones. They either constantly slipped out or pained me to stay in place. I bought the ear pods as a trial and I absolutely love them. They fit comfortably and stay in place! THANKS so much for this!

    Really great Earphones

It's really comfortable in my ears and they fit much better than the older apple earphones. It also produces better bass. Really worth to buy

    not great

I dont like the earbuds because they're made ONLY to use with the mic positioned on the right side. A hinderance if you're a person that holds the phone on the left side. Please please PLEASE make buds conducive to people that like or would like the mic on the left side. The buds dont even work if you switch them around. At least the old buds could be used on either side. Fix it!!

These EarPods are amazing! I owned previous version of earphones from Apple. These EarPods really have a nice deeper bass tone, feels comfortable in the ears and doesn't fall down at all. I just can't get enough of these earphones! Highly recommend!

Apple EarPods with Remote and Mic

I LOVE these headphones. They fit comfortably in my ear and I like how you can change the volume and play/pause the song with the remote. These EarPods have amazing sound quality!!! I have never experienced a better pair of headphones in my life! I have a song that has a motorcycle driving by at the beginning and it like, transfers from my left ear, through my head to my right ear! I LOVE these EarPods SO MUCH. THEY ROCK!!!

    Keeps Falling!

For people who like to move around listen to music while commuting to office or while walking; I would NOT recommend them to buy these earphones. Whatever good the sound quality might be but if it keeps falling from your ear, it just is not a good product. The key usage for the earphone is to keep me connected to the music. These earphones might have good quality (which actually I cant differentiate much compared to any other branded earphone) but it just keeps falling down. Apple Team - We need a new product please!

    Beautiful Rich Sound

I just bought these today because my old Skull Candy earbuds broke. Wow, the sound with these is better than with my $180 Bose headphones I use with my iMac. Obviously, based on that, the price is just right. You will not be disappointed. I don't know how they did it with this tiny package.

    Love them

I've been anxiously waiting for these!!! They're finally here and I freaking love them. They have have amazing sound quality, they're very comfortable. These earpods have me listening to songs I didn't even like, like I said they have an amazing sound quality. They're 30$ but they're worth it , I feel like buying another one just in case I forget them at home !

The EarPods actually fit in my ears. But they turned to junk really fast. Not even a month after I started using them, the right side of the earphones lost about 80% of the sound. It was very uneven, and blancing the L&R sound in the settings didn't help. May be good for some people, but not for me.

The sound is beyond my expectation of what 35 bucks can do!

It's comfortable to wear with no doubt. It feels like small and smooth enough to slide into your ear and won't feel stuck.

The sound is warm. Enough bass for disco, pop and metal. Compare to my Sennheiser MX760, EarPods has more bass and balanced all tones although it has narrower stage and less tre-tune details. MX760 has more details and higher definition in all tunes with a wide stage of sound, but weak bass.

Compare to my Sennheiser HD555, EarPods still wins on bass quantity but HD555 has more responsible bass which is more punchy. EarPods is kind of fluffy, which I recognise as a different type of bass. For sound stage, sound details and definitions of all tunes, surly HD555 wins, but EarPods can do its job in 30 bucks range.

The cord is now with new coating (maybe new type of rubber), which feels non-sticky. The smooth and chewy cord will cause less tangle!

The remote button is more comfortable and easier to press than before, which because it's bigger and softer.

The airflow holes on EarPods' body works like Apple says. When you genteelly block off the one on the top, the mid-range tune will become weak. When you block the two holes at the bottom, the low-range tune will become weak. Test it yourselves.

EarPods uses paper diaphragm, which Apple States so also. Some US version uses plastic as before but sounds no different.

Personally, I bought this to replace my 1000 days old iPhone 4 headphone, but I got a lot more from just a replacement.

One more thing, if you gonna use is on iPod Shuffle 3rd Gen, only 'Pause' button will work. The previous generation of iPhone earphone with mic WILL work with ALL functionality.

    worst earphones on earth

    Dear Apple,
The Apple Earpods are claimed to be the best but the connector broke on me twice.
In total i've spent over $60.00 on Apple earphones including the old and new ones.
If you can come up with a metal connector alluminium or some other strong yet light material
or to make the plastic stronger because i've heard complains that their connector breakes
due to their iPhone IPod or iPad falling on the connector.
