Ear pods phenomenal travel case not so much

Without a doubt these new ear pods go above and beyond the original your buds. Well worth the $30 and five day wait to arrive from China. I do like that a carrying case was included.... However if you are going to include a carrying and or travel case for the pods - It should at least be a practical one that can be easily used. The case included is horrific, inpractical and so not user-friendly. Well done on the earpod's
    epic fail on the case

    Definitely Worth Upgrading

I just got the EarPods today and was listening to Pandora with them to get a variety of sounds. I immediately noticed stronger bass and boom and a more comfortable, immersive experience as compared with the previous model. The old earbuds would hurt my ears after a bit wearing them. These EarPods are smooth and angled to go inside the ear, and with the music playback, I can still hear ambient noise but only if it is in the same room or at louder volume. I can wear them for hours without experiencing irritation or pain. I don't like total noise cancellation, so these 'pods work excellently for me.

I also like the plastic travel case. Easy to just wind the headphones around and pack them away, which prevents them getting caught on things when trying to pull them from a bag.

The controls and cord feel sturdier and more tactilely stimulating when clicking the buttons.

For the price, the EarPods deliver crisper sound than any earbud style headphones I've ever tried. A more expensive USB headset delivers better sound, but the EarPods are worth the purchase because they are portable, can be worn for a long time without discomfort, and music is full enough that it takes focus for the most part unless you're in loud environments.

    Great

Great ear pods, better than the more expensive ones from Apple and very other one out there, even the more expensive ones. Bass is very good also. The only thing is that the plastic is slippery, takes some time to adjust. I use a foam around it which you can be found at Radio Shack.

    Works absolutely great for me

I originally used Beats Tours and was very contented with it up until it was spoilt overtime. Took awhile to decide on a better replacement and I wanted to try this EarPods when it came out months ago. Reading on the countless product reviews, my only worry was if it will fit well in my ear, since that's mostly the con from most people's reviews. I finally decided to get one and I must say, sound quality is indeed very nice, especially the solid bass even in full volume. Thankfully the earpieces fit perfectly well for me, even tried tilting my head in different positions and it remained in place. So maybe, yeah, because of our unique ear shapes, Apple really just went to the most shapes it can cater to with this one - and that makes it not for absolutely everybody.

    Worth every penny

As a professional audio engineer, I've worked with people from Dweezil Zappa, to contestants from VH!'s The Voice. Audio quality is number one in my business. I use these 30 dollar headphones for referencing my mixes before they are sent out. Truly a bang for the buck!

    Simply Amazing

These bad boys are the best bang you'll get for your buck out there. The sound quality is better than most $100+ headphones I've listened to. For $30, this is more than a steal. Loving the improved bass and overall sound. Can't hear anything in the environment or barely even my own voice when these puppies are on.

The new design fits PERFECTLY in my ear and doesn't budge easily like the past ear buds. No more rubber around the speaker to worry about decaying over time. I literally threw away 3 old pairs of Apple buds recently because of the rubber disintegrating around the speaker.

    Best I've Ever Heard

These ear pods came with my new iPhone 5 and I am VERY impressed. The packaging can be reused to store the earbuds for travel and keep them from tangling which is really neat. The sound quality is absolutely incredible! I've never heard such a great bass in a pair of ear buds before. I had a problem with the old earbuds not fitting properly in my ears and making my ears hurt to the point where I couldn't wear them anymore but that is not an issue with these at all. They fit PERFECTLY. I would recommend these to anyone in a heart beat. Absolutely incredible.

    BASS BASS BASS

These headphones have unbelievable bass especially if, on an iPhone you go to settings, music, EQ, and then select "Bass Booster". The price is a complete steal for headphones exhibiting this quality. Also, they are probably the most comfortable headphones in the world. No joke, these headphones were designed to sit comfortably in the human ear and they do that with a high degree of effectiveness. I have had beats in the past and these new Apple Earpods really do compare with Beats, thus saying they should be priced higher. They look well designed but one thing I would appreciate, or any other Apple fan-boy, would be if the next generation of Apple headphones came with a small Apple logo on the back of the headphones then selves. That is of course a minor feature which would be appreciated! When sitting, these headphones will not move even an millimeter away from your ear but when one is walking around then they do tend to exhibit the occasional "slip out of one ear" or the other. Also, I would not recommend them to use as primary running headphones because you will eventually get fed up with them consistently falling out on those long runs.
Bottom Line: For a mere $30 label these revolutionary earpods are not to be fooled with, for they will bring the comfort and near equivalent bass of headphones in the sub-$200 category.

Most ill-fitting Apple headphones so far

When I read that these were made to fit extremely well, I was very excited. But my hopes were disappointed, never did I have headphones that fall out of the ears more easily. Believe what others said about this. They are slippery and with one-size-fits-all, how could they fit well? Compare that to Apple's in-ear headphones, they come with three different earpieces!

The sound is great AS LONG as they are deep and snug in your ear. But that usually only lasts for seconds and then they are loose again and sound worse than most other headphones.

    props to apple, truly amazing

i never liked the old apple earphones much to be honest, so i was quite skeptical about these but when i tried them the first time it was so so good. the fit is to die for and for someone who listens to rap and hip hop like me, the new improvement with the bass is heavenly. for anyone looking for new earphones look now further, these are the ones haha. iv tried all types of earphones and over heads, i owned beats monster in ears and i must say these arnt much behind those for about a tenth of the price. apple really went in this time. great job guys, for only $29 ?!? i would seriously pay $80 or more for them. but please dont make them cost more haha. ps~ prayers and deepest condolences to those affected by the connecticut shooting and the country of usa
