    Can't Beat This!

These EarPods are extremely well done! Not only do they fit amazing, but they provide excellent sound with an impressive amount of bass considering they aren't ear-buds. Overall great product and a great bang for your buck! Bought my 3rd pair today for skiing!

    Best Headphones Ever!!!!!!

I couldn't be more happier with these earpods. The sound so crisp and clear it makes you feel your with your favorite artist in the studio. Thumbs up to Apple. Great product. Would recommend these to everyone!!!!!!

    Too much bass

Nice design, but the bass is more than adequate, masking all the mid and the high...

    Failed after 1 month

These came with my new iPhone 5 and worked great. I never abused them but after only a month, of very infrequent use, the left side failed completely. The sound quality was great, but I would not recommend on that alone. Plus it happened a day after the phone itself failed and had to be replaced at the Apple store. I'm very disappointed in Apple's supposed high quality.

    Won't stay in the ear

So I read the reviews and it "looked" like Apple did research to optimize the fit of these new earphones. Well NO earbuds ever fit in my ear so when I got these I thought I would give Apple the benefit of their research.

FYI - this is not a review of sound quality...that is great

So first day I thought they were really good. But they just seemed to sit on my ear. Almost so loose that I could hear everything around me like I didn't have earphones in. Within the first five minutes the suckers were falling out and would not stay in. Mind you this is sitting at a desk not even moving around. Tried pushing them in for a tight fit and it did not help. Nothing I do will keep them in my ear so these are useless to me.

So I'm rating this a 2 since I know my ears don't fit any earbud type headphones except for the Koss isparks. I would have rated it a 1 except for the fact that I think half of it is my problem.

    Excellent Fit and Quality

I love these headphones! I just took them out of the box and started listening to my favorite songs. It makes you feel like you're in the song! They fit great in my ears too. Great job, you guys!

    still don't fit

I have such a difficult time with earbuds. And, I was excited to see these! A different shape may have a different outcome. NOPE. I bought these specifically because of the remote and mic function. My iPhone4 ear speaker is shot (after 2 years) so i need something that will allow me to talk on the phone without it always being on speakerphone. However, these earbuds simply just fall out after about 5 minutes of wear.

    I'm really disappointed.
    And they are painful.
Won't even stay in with a toque on!!!

    Terrible

Ok, the sound is not the WORST I've ever heard, but it still is not what I would call good. At least for me, the fit is TERRIBLE. They do not stay in my ear at all, they are completely uncomfortable and they do not block out any ambient noise at all; however, they do not claim to do so. I have an old pair of Koss earbuds that I got from Wal Mart for $20 that are lightyears ahead of these in terms of sound, fit and comfort. In today's competitive market, you would think Apple would make an accessory which is a little more capable and useable. Fine for something that comes with the phone as a free accessory, but if you are considering buying these outright, PLEASE do not waste your money.

    Great pair of headphones!

Read a few reviews and decided to buy them. I am extremely happy with my decision; overall, the music quality is outstanding. There is also a noticeable change in bass with these. These headphone are comfortable and have a great price. I would be glad to recommend them to all of my friends.

    Do not fit my ears

They sound great unfortunately as is the case for many reviewers they never stay in the correct position for optimal sound and they fall out completely quite easily. I'd rate them as two stars for me, four stars for people who can get a good fit so average to three stars. These are frankly quite a disappointment. Some kind of rubberized texture would have improved average fit immensely, Apple totally ignored function for style on this one.

    An Actual Review with Recommendations

These earbuds are, first of all, ugly when you look at them. There is just no way I find these earbuds attractive. Second, they fit nicely in my ears, but everybody's ears aren't the same, unfortunately. If they can't fit in your ears, I'm sorry, because you're missing out on my third point: sound quality. The sound on these earbuds is amazing, revolutionary, extraordinary, extramazinarylutioning, any other adjective I can add to this to make them sound better. The truth is, they sound great, especially the bass and more low-end sounds. The higher end and treble sound great just like most other earbuds, but the bass is what really got me. It is very crisp, at the same time that it hits really hard. Now for the flaws, if they get earwax in them, they lose their loudness. To fix this, I got a needle and poked a few holes in the spot where the sound comes out. Apple did a marvelous job with placing vents in the base and sphere part of the earbud. Also, if you want harder hitting bass, get electrical tape and cover up the uppermost whole. The top vent is meant for bass, and the two lower vents are more for treble; if you cover up these, the bass is effected as well as the mid and higher ranges sounding hallow and flat. I would highly recommend these earbuds to anyone who wants clear, crisp sound as well as decent volume, and hard hitting bass, and for a small price of 30 dollars, you really can't go wrong. I have bought headphones that fail in comparison to sound quality and they cost upwards of 60 dollars. Beats cost upwards of 300 dollars and their sound quality is ok and the loudness is decent, but I would rather buy 10 pairs of Earpods than buy a pair of Beats. Lastly, I don't know why people say they make their ears sore, I've been wearing the for upwards of 2 months, nearly 6+ hours a day(school) and have never had a problem. The one major downside to these headphones is that if you're lying in bed with your right ear in your pillow and your right earbud in, the sound is barely there, but that's why you have 2 ears. One less noticeable defect is that the remote is slightly higher up than Apple's previous generation earbuds and this poses a small problem for those who put the cord of the earbuds down their shirt, so it doesn't catch on anything, when you move your head, it will come above your collar and it could sometimes knock out the earbud. This happens like 1/10 times for me but I can live with it; not to mention I have two ears and I could always put the left earbud in and take the right one out if I don't want to be bothered by this. These earbuds are 1000 times better than Apple's previous generation earbuds.

    Wow! What an improvement........

I bought my 4s a little over a year ago,and it came with earbuds. They always fell out of my ears....no good. So I decided to buy the new Earpods during Apple's sale event at midnight for about $22.......What a great investment!!! I can now listen to my music without having to stop and adjust my headphones. I highly recommend these to anyone with an IPhone or IPod.

    BLOWN AWAY

I must admit when I first saw them I said "umm these are not going to fit.." but once I put them in they were a perfect fit and the quality is wow super crisp and clear. No complains from here. Love the bass from these. Got them for a great deal on black Friday and just got them today.

    Bang for your buck!

Crisp sound and a weighted bass give these headphones a 5 star rating. The balance between the mids, lows and highs are insanely good. Such a great price for the quality you receive. No issues with comfort either. Superb job Apple!

    Amazing..

These earpods are an engineering feet to say the least. Far better than any thing else in the market at any price. Forget the sound quality, a 300$ headphone can give you that as good as these. But the fit and weight of the buds are so amazing. Its one of the best hearing experiences had. And the price is jaw dropping.. How could they make it for so less..?

    Perfect sound & Low quality

The headphones have a very good, you might say, and perfect the sound. However, the quality is sub-standard, especially for Apple. Headphones do not work, but after 3 weeks of careful use. I've already bought 3 pairs and not one I have not used for more than a month...
