    Great sound, not great fit

I got these with the iPod Touch 5th gen. and I must say the sound was surprisingly good. The bass is really good for in-ear headphones and the music is very clear. What disappointed me was the fit. It was all hyped up to be a perfect fit for all ears, but they are not as sturdy as I would have liked. I am 15 years old, and I have huge ears, so that could be a reason. Plus I am disappointed with the remote and mic not coming with the iPod version. Other than that, I love the headphones.

    Powerful Sound

Plain and simple, these headphones are great, in sound quality. However, I still feel as if they are going to fall out of my ear even after Apple's ear research and that insecurity is hard to overlook. Also, I know earbuds in general perform rather low for running. Either case, I tried them out to put them through a complete test anyway. They did better than I anticipated, but still failed in the long run/higher speeds (9.2 mph or 6:01 mile/min). Then the test of time. Here they did well, I was watching "What Dreams May Come", and for those that haven't seen it, it's not a short movie, and they were comfortable for about 75% of the movie. Till I laid on my back. While on my back the 'not so fixed in the ear' feeling returned. Unfortunately, thanks to this I began to adjust and readjust the earbuds. Honestly I think it was more my finger tinkering more than the actual buds that caused my ears to become irritated, but the fact remained, they didn't feel secure. Aside from all of this, I think these are great buds for the price, and if you are a public transport commuter/traveler. The size+case and sitting up right comfort make it ideal for those times you want to forget where you are.

    Better than what I expected

I'm not sure why I see so many people writing bad reviews. I got a pair of these with my 7th Generation Nano and have to say, these headphones are absolutely amazing. I run allot, and have had no issue with these falling out of my ear once. The old headphones would hurt my ear after a few minutes and end up falling out with little movement. Maybe they just fit some peoples ears better than others, but I'm truly impressed.

    Beast!!

These headphones fit better, sound better and are more comfortable than any other headphones out there (aside from headphones that cover the ear). I've had Beats by Dre, Bose and other high end headphones and these are super awesome!! Did I mention the come with your iPhone 5, if you don't have an iPhone 5 their only $30!!

    Great Product!

The new Apple Earpods are great! For $30, they're really worth it. At first I was hesitant to buy the product. But eventually I gave in. I was expecting a "normal" product just like the stock earphones before. But I was wrong. It has great design, sound, and case too! I totally recommend it for anyone who is looking for a great portable earphones!

    Significant upgrade on previous models

I've owned the iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S and now the iPhone 5, and these EarPods are an amazing leap in sound quality compared to the headphones that shipped with the previous iPhones. These EarPods have significantly improved bass. It now sounds much more like you are listening to a home stereo system with subwoofer, rather than a tinny pair of headphones. I'm very impressed!

    great

These are a dramatic improvement over previous earbuds from Apple. I own very expensive Sony earbuds and prefer these inexpensive buds. Great lows, mids and highs. They fit loosely and allow some airspace between them and my ears. For me this is a good thing as a soft airtight earbud makes my recurrent ear infections more likely to occur. The remote control is handy and works flawlessly. Well done Apple.

Best piece of bare plastic I ever put in my ears.

Pretty impressed actually. These earphones are a significant improvement over the older style, and more comfortable despite the lack of cushioning band (which I've had wear off anyway). Not perfect, it takes adjustment in order to sit with them for more than an hour. But like the title says, for a bare piece of plastic, pretty nice.

Sound quality is pretty good. I think people need to understand, there is a -vast- difference between standard earphones (including Earpods) and noise-cancelling earphones. Noise-cancelling earphones rely heavily on creating a sealed chamber inside your own ear to produce that rich sound you get. Standard earphones have only their own casings for acoustic chambers, so with that in mind, the Earpods are actually quite remarkable, providing clarity and equal emphasis on all bands. The only thing I can complain about is that there's a certain 'tinny' sound that carries over from the old style.

Overall, for being included with devices, they're enjoyable enough to actually use on a regular basis. Probably an industry first.

    Great sound with bad comfort

Apple nailed it when it came to the design of these for the sound. Highs, mids, and lows are all perfect and go exactly where they need to go for the best sound experience. That's why I'm so disappointed with the comfort of them. They don't fall out, at least I've never had a problem with them. The problem is they are the second most uncomfortable pair of earbuds I've ever had. They hurt my ears and I find that I can't stand wearing them for long periods of time. Due to that factor, I'm definitely going to be switching back to a better pair of earbuds and leaving these in my desk drawer.
You were almost there Apple. Just work on the comfort. I can't see a hard lump of plastic, no matter what its shape, being a universal fit for everyone's ears. Try something softer maybe.

    They fall out

They fall out of the ears. When I went with them, I was constantly feeling that they are slipping, slipping with every move of the head... aaand bum, they fall.

sounds okay, still hurts my ears

Just got the new touch with the EarPods. Sound is good, but after half and hour they started hurting my ear :-( I guess have ears much smaller than average, and very different from the "test people" . I'll be going back to the small earbuds I finally found after much searching. Unfortunately they aren't meant for a iPod, so no radio antenna in the wire.

    Love My EarPods!!!

Everything is great, but I would change one thing. The Remote and Mic should be in a more convenient spot to use. Maybe not have it so close to my face, as I cannot see the controls while using. Otherwise, Apple products are SUPER!!!

Good sound, useless for active listening

I got these with my iPhone 5 and I was looking forward to trying them out. They are infinitely better than the earphones that came with all the other Apple mobile devices I've had in the past, but that is a pretty low bar. The old ones didn't fit, felt like sticking a large fava bean in your ear, and they fell out with the slightest twitch of your head. The new ones solved problems 1 & 2, but they still do NOT stay in your ears while you are walking, running... heck, they don't stay in if you are chewing! I bought a pair of cheap Sony plugs with soft rubber cups that have a remote mike and controls that I use when I'm hiking/running that work great and have adequate sound quality. Why can't Apple make something similar with better sound quality?

    Small but terrible

I just bought this EarPods today, and they are awesome! The price is not proportionate to its quality. This little beast is 5 times worth than it's actual price.
If you want value for your money, I highly recommend this product.

    Great headphones

I got the EarPods with the iPhone , it is just amazing and so much bester than the previous headphones. Comparing with the in EarPods it is a great value as you pay less as 55% and get better and clear sound.

    Don't Believe It

These do NOT fit my ears. They fall right out, just like the old ones. Don't believe what the advertising tells you. These are not like one size fits all, which is the impression that the ads give. In fact I think they're worse than the old ones because the whole body of the ear insert is shiny plastic so it's slippery. I'm really angry and feel ripped off.

    Extremely Disappointed

My friend purchased these headphones and let me try them on. They are the most awkward fitting headphones I have ever used and they hardly stay in my ear.
