    Don't Buy For 1 Reason

The cutout holes for both the headphone and lightning connections are not big enough for some of my accessories. Example: my nice studio headphones and Apogee Mic96 will not connect to iPad with the case on. I wish I hadn't bought the case for this reason, otherwise it is fine. Actually this has been a problem for some apple product cases for a long time and one would think that everyone would have resolved it by now. My Rockford cases don't have this issue.

An okay fit but mediocre build.

My midnight blue case is a great color, but the case seems just barely too big in depth and length. The cover doesn't lay as flat as expected, but that is likely due to the fact that the cover is attached to the case. Finally, the leather is not a nice fine texture as the pictures or other leather cases from Apple show, it reminds me of that cheap, particle-board-like leather used in cheap Bibles. Overall, the case is good at doing its job but falls short in the quality that I expected for what I payed.

    iPad air2 smart case

When I purchased my iPad I bought an apple screen cover for it, but always felt as though it needed more protection. Now with the smart case I have it. Great design and quality, it fits well and looks very stylish in the midnight blue colour that I chose. Highly recommended.

    Good Protection

I was skeptical that they had changed the cases between Air and Air2 as the Air2 does sit lower, it's not a problem though. I noticed there's not hole for the sliding lock button but then I realised the Air2 doesn't have a sliding lock button so this is definitely a redesigned case. I weighed my old Air case and this case and this was 10 grams lighter, I suppose my old Air case could have taken on moisture which migh account for the difference. The iPad turns off and on automatically when you close/open the case which is just as well as pressing the power button can be tricky, sometimes. When in portrait mode it doesn't sit up much on the case, it's only lifted at a slight angle. All in all these cases do the job. My old iPad Air looks brand new still. My biggest gripe is of course the price. Too expensive.

    Loses Magnetism

This case is not good if you like to stand your iPad up. Over a short period of time it lost its magnetism and now the slightest bump it separates from the iPad and it goes crashing to the floor or on the table. Even on a steady surface, it I type on the iPad it will just fall over. It is beyond frustrating.

    Exceeded my expectations!

I was pleasantly surprised how well this deep blue cover fit my iPad Air 2 - like a glove. Six months later it looks like new. It feels rich, fits perfectly, is light, and has holes and tabs just where they should be, making its use easy. It will stand up tall - steadily - for reading, or lay down for typing. I just couldn't be happier. And I even like the color!

Never been so disappointed in an Apple product

At first it was lovely, but, with time it stretched out. I would hate to be someone with a slightly thinner iPad mini 1 using this. To the reviewer who said this assertion is wrong lol give it time. I have it in red and I baby my devices, they are virtually like new, I never use them unless I have a case and I'm clean. The dark red case on the back looks about 10 years old. Discoloured and dirty looking. :( That doesn't bother me too much but just one more thing to add to the disappointment. Also, the triangle stand doesn't stay and the iPad falls over a lot. Doesn't make sense to me $89 plus tax it's very expensive. To top it all off, I've had it for 6 months and yesterday I took this loose case off my iPad mini 2 and it broke at the headset plug in spot..I bought it at Staples months ago, I wonder if there's any way to get it replaced. :| My $50 poly cover is 1000x better than this but ofc has no back coverage. I give 3 starts (pretty good rating) because it's sharp looking for the most part, smooth soft leather, nice inside. I always defend Apple products, they are not just style, I LOVE them. But, this? Style over quality all the way.

    Only the best from Apple

When the IPad Air came outI bought red cover, but just recently bought the pale pink for a new Air 2. No matter which cover you buy just make sure it's for the model you have. I have never been disappointed in the fit or the color I've chosen.

I bought this case for my iPad Air in the light blue and at first I loved it. After some daily use I could see some wear and tear not more than 2-3 months after purchasing. The idea of this case is great but I wish it was more sturdy. I ended up buying a much cheaper case that works even better. Hate that I spent so much money on it.

    So perfect!

Was really worried about buying my iPad air 2 case, after some of the reviews on here.
But it turns out I had nothing to worry about, the case is a perfect fit all round.
Don't get why others have said they don't fit right, can only think they have got the old air cases by mistake.
My box actually says for IPad Air 2 so it looks like Apple have picked up on this problem. For anyone on the fence you won't get a better made case and did I mention it feels & looks gorgeous.

Exceeded all my expectations, and color darker and better

Reluctantly, I looked at the Apple offerings for my iPad Air 2. I went to the store and picked out what I thought was a black case. At home I realized it was actually slightly blue, and on my receipt it said "Midnight Blue." Everyone in my family loves the color and doesn't want me to return it for a black one. The color is elegant and chic and timeless.

But it's the fit and overall quality that is even more impressive and takes the iPad experience to a much higher level. This is the best accessory you can buy for your iPad. Period. You owe it to yourself to try it. Other reviewers have said, "fits like a glove" many times; well, it's more like a vacuum fit. Incredible, like a second skin.

The feel and quality of the leather is luxurious while remaining focused on functionality. The iPad is a tactile product -- you hold it, you carry it, you touch it. Having this amazing high quality surface in your hands, tightly integrated into the shape of the product, makes the experience jump to an amazing high level. It suddenly feels like a luxury to hold it and use it. (As a bonus, I use the sturdy case display box to carry my iPad in when I travel, it offers a thin and attractive case, with the iPad in its cover inside.) Turning the iPad on and off by opening and closing the magnetized case is more effective and handier than I ever imagined. No more fumbling for buttons. This case has far exceeded my expectations. It changes the iPad experience, completely.

The case is generally nice to use. It is comfortable to hold and functions well. The only thing I dislike is the headphone cut out... No ear buds or headphones fit because the cut out is too small. Even beats headphones won't fit. I'm returning mine

    Perfect fit

I've had this case for a few weeks now. The leather feels great and the case fits perfectly. Not too bulky with an exact fit. The reviews saying that the case is loose fitting are wrong. I can only assume they purchased the original iPad Air case. I'm a very picky purchaser. I wanted the moshi versacover because I had one on my old iPad. You just can't get them in Canada yet. Decided on this one instead and I actually like it better!

    Great case, tad expensive

Just got the old one for the original iPad air the other day. It's a perfect fit, with these cases you've have to make sure you're getting for the right model otherwise it won't fit. The material is great and feels good in the hands. I love that it can fold into a stand while I do work. The one and only complaint I have is it's a tad on the expensive size for what it does, but no surprise since after all it is an Apple case. It's a great case and is proctective with the only openings at the charger, headphone jack, and mute button. Although if you're looking for a case that's REALLY proctective I would look elsewhere at this price. However it suits my needs great and works and fits perfectly!

    Good, not great.

I just bought the iPad Air 2 smart case and its good. I have the blue case with a white iPad. Looks amazing. Fits great, slim and stylish. The only thing I don't like is that when you open the flap it doesn't stick magnetically to the back. It does stick in the triangle position but not when its flap on the back. Other than that looks good.

Totally unsatisfied, went back to older case

The product has good quality materials, but it appears there is a design problem in the portion that connects the solid case holding the iPad and the moving cover: the separation is so large that there is no way to get the iPad to stand firmly in typing position with some inclination, it just slips down and falls flat on the surface. No matter how much you try to arrange and re arrange to result is always the same, falling down and lying flat. It becomes so frustrating I decided to go back to a previous cover from Tumy which does not have the problem.
The worst part is that Apple charges US$70 for this case, very expensive for a malfunctioning product in comparison with many other options in the market that do a better job.

Great design poor execution. Falling apart after 2 years of use.

I had such case for my iPad 4 from 2012. It worked very well, nice touch and usability. But after around 2 years it started to fall apart. Specifically glue on shorter edges gave up and frame got detached. The whole case still hold up but those edges are terrible. I just upgraded to iPad Air 2 and I really wanted to get new Apple Case but with previous experience I am looking for alternatives. So if you want replace it every 2 years go ahead and spend $80. For me Apple product should be much better. Maybe made in China is not what should be offered.

    Junk - returning it immediately.

The only thing this case had going for it is its looks - it is flimsy and when set up on supposed support stand it tips over at the slightest touch - it is difficult to open as you have to get your fingernails in the opening to open it - I don't think it does the I-Pad Air 2 any good to get tipped over about every time I tap on the top of screen - totally overpriced - yuppy looks with no practicality.

    Beautiful Midnight Blue

I just got the iPad air 2 for Christmas and there are not a lot of cases available for the air 2. With my old iPad 4 I have used a incase revolution jacket for years but that not available for the iPad air 2 yet so I decided to give the Midnight Blue a try fell in Love with it right away beautiful color amazing feel to the leather adds no bulk or weight to the iPad at all. I still love my old iPad in my incase case but sittings it next to the iPad air 2 with midnight Blue case on the old iPad it at least twice as thick if not more and a lot heavier. Just got the Midnight Blue in the iPhone 6plus leather case hope I will love it as well. Would highly recommend
