    Slippery - Something Changed

I had this same case for my 6 and I loved it. It had the perfect amount of grip so I could hold my phone without needing to squeeze. This has changed and the newer model has a slow creep down through my hand as I hold it. The padding is nice and it seems like it would provide some protection, but the sad part is that I now need drop protection because my case is so slippery!

Nice design, but fragile and material is slippery w/ the Plus

This case looks good on the phone and has a nice feel to it (at first,) however the Silicone itself is terrible for this application. Two reasons:

    - It's fragile. The silicone ripped around the edge when removing it once revealing the plastic frame. Not a good look

    - Most importantly, it's actually slippery. This is counter-intuitive as at first it feels grippy, but this is due to the texture of the material. When you pick the phone up or handle it it's not a problem however if you hold it for any legnth of time, you will find it slowly slipping out of your grasp like it's been greased up. This is because silicone is actually a non-stick material. So the texture makes it initially grip, but then gravity sets in and it starts to slip. It's really annoying.

On the other hand, with the lighter weight 6s, it works quite well, it's just a really bad experience on the Plus.

    Almost perfect but

Lovely looking case (I have the grey and the girlfriend has the blue).

It's oddly quite slippy to hold which I wasn't expecting and I'm pretty such its the main reason my ApplePay doesn't always work.
With the case on I have to get the phone very very close to the POS terminal and then move it around........

I'm not sure if this is any issue with all cases or just this one but it is very annoying!

    Not enough grip in back

Last years version for the 6 plus has a better grip.
The new version for the 6s plus is very slippery.
Took mine back. I'll stick with last years version much better.

    awesome case

Let me start off by saying I originally had the the iPhone 6 Plus with the leather case and I really liked it but just seemed to fit way to tight. I now have the iPhone 6S Plus and decided to get the silicone case and I like even better than the leather and it seems to fit the phone really nice it doesn't seem like its to tight. As for build quality I think its better than most I have had a lot of cases for my iPhones and I always seem to go back to the one made by Apple.

    Cheaper in build...

First impressions were positive, especially with all the new color options, although upon purchasing I was disappointed.

    Here's why:
    1. Apple logo on back is no longer embossed, instead it's replaced with what feels like a cheap silicone sticker.
    2. Subtle size difference, you'll notice light peaking through the vibrate/orientation switch on left side, & minute button tactility.
    3. Orange option is hardly discernible from the red. Disappointing for us Giants/Niners fans lol.
    4. Cheaper build... same price.

Take my review for what it's worth, I'm a very critical consumer, the type who won't buy jeans if there's a loose thread.

    So good

This is an excellent case. I can't attest to how protective it is because I haven't dropped my phone yet, but the fit and finish is superb. The color is a nice matte gray with a soft feeling silicone texture. The phone sits extremely snug inside the case, yet the silicone has some flex to it, so it isn't a hassle pop out the phone if needed unlike the leather case. The texture is a little slippery though. All in all, it's a 4.5, but I'll round it down to a 4 because I can't rate it as such.
