How to create a virtual color proof
- Choose the menu Edit>Convert to Profile
- In the dialog box, go to Destination Space, then choose your output device profile under CMYK Profile
- Go to Conversion Options and choose Apple CMM
- Choose an Intent. We recommend either Relative colorimetric or Absolute colorimetric, depending upon which best renders the color you want to print. You can preview both options in this dialog before making a decision.
- Check the Black Point Compensation box
- Click Okay
- Save the file with a new name and send to your client for review.
