Set Cycle by Selection
There are several quick ways to cycle a segment of your song in Logic Pro.
First, enable Cycle mode, either by highlighting the Cycle icon in the Transport window, or via key command. The default assignment is the “/” (right-slash) key.
Next, select any region within the Arrange window and type in the key command for “Set rounded Locators by Regions/Events.” (The default assignment is the “=” key.) Press Play, and the selected region cycles until you press Stop.
Here we selected the drum region between bars five and seven, tapped the “=” key, and pressed Play, cycling those two bars.
