I purchased my qualifying Mac, iPad, or iPhone from an Apple Retail Store or from an Apple Authorized Campus Store. How do I get my App Store Gift Card?

You should have received your App Store Gift Card at the same time you purchased your qualifying Mac, iPad, or iPhone. Your right to claim the Back to School Gift Card expires when the purchase transaction is complete. An iPhone purchased from a campus store is not eligible.

What is the difference between the App Store Gift Card and an Apple Gift Card?

The App Store Gift Card may be used to purchase apps from the Mac App Store, the App Store, the iTunes Store, and iBooks. Apple Gift Cards can only be applied to purchases from an Apple Retail Store, the Apple Online Store, or Apple Telesales (1-800-MY-APPLE) in the United States. Apple Gift Cards cannot be redeemed at the iTunes Store.

You can purchase apps from the Mac App Store or the App Store, and buy music, movies, and your favorite TV shows from the iTunes Store, and shop for books on iBooks.

Is my App Store Gift Card transferable?

Yes. However, once credited to an iTunes account, the entire credit remains with that account.

Why was I charged for the free App Store Gift Card?

Your invoice or receipt will also show an equivalent discount amount to cancel out the charge for the card. As a result, your invoice or receipt will amount to the cost of the Mac, iPad, or iPhone only, including applicable shipping cost and sales tax.

I declined to accept the App Store Gift Card at the time of purchase. Can I still get my card?

This promotional offer expires when the purchase transaction is complete. Any subsequent requests for the card will not be honored.
