Vanessa Carlton

This video interview by Culture Catch host Dusty Wright and performance by singer/songwriter Vanessa Carlton was shot at Bennett Media Studios in New York City in June 2008. It was the launch of the Culture Catch Music Salon series recorded in HD 5.1 Surround Sound. It was shot with 3 HD cameras and utilized Holophone 5.1 microphones.

This particular song, the title song, from Ms. Carlton’s Heroes & Thieves CD was performed in front of an invited VIP audience. This show afforded them unprecedented access to a high level performance and artist exchange in a fantastic environment. She was augmented by Sky Steele on violin. The Baldwin baby grand piano was furnished by Gibson.

The edit and effects were done on Final Cut HD by co-founder Richard Burns.
