Direct a movie.

Your director’s chair is waiting in the Movie Workshop, where you’ll learn how to make a movie in the time it takes to watch one. From importing and cropping video clips to adding cool special effects and transitions, you’ll leave as an up-and-coming filmmaker with the movie you’ve just made on DVD.

This workshop is geared for kids with intermediate to advanced computer skills who have an interest in filmmaking. Prior iMovie experience is not required.

The Movie Workshop is free but space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Register now

What to Bring

Campers must bring along a signed Camp Permission Statement (PDF) and copy of their registration confirmation to attend.

Please remember, all campers under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the Camp Workshop.

If you have an Apple laptop running Mac OS X, digital camcorder, or existing footage, please feel free to bring them along with any required cables. Your Apple Store will supply computers, sample footage and a Canon ZR930 or ZR950 Video Camera.

What You’ll Receive

Campers will receive a CD/DVD with with their movie project burned on it. All campers will also receive a field guide, t-shirt and more fun giveaways.
